Situation: Kristoff does not buy that he could be here and his best buddy Sven couldn't be, therefore he is searching high and low for a certain reindeer.

I'm guessing you don't have much experience with reindeer.

[Because, seriously. He crosses his arms, a brow going up.]

How large? What particular colour? Favourite food to lure him out if needed?

About my height. Shaggy. Musky smell. And carrots. We love carrots.

[Hands down, the best food ever.]

[She knows what reindeer look like silly, she's seen pictures!]

[Monet stands up to her full height, and tilts her head as though she's listening for something, stays still for a few seconds, before she looks at Kristoff again.]

There are approximately thirty-two locations where I can discern someone eating what sounds like carrots. However, they are all talking, so I expect none are your reindeer.

Sven can talk. [That's a defensive reaction and he's crossing his arms still.] I understand him perfectly.

[She frowns, electing not to argue about the whole... reinder... talking thing. Wouldn't be the first time she's met a nutcase.]

[You trying to say he's crazy? He's not. He just appreciates the finer creatures in life and those? Don't happen to be people.]

[Right, baseline human who might still be a bit nuts.]

At any rate, your search is futile.

How is it futile? [Seriously. Hold up there. He straightens and shakes his head, then gestures around them.] There's no one here to hear and there's no mountain pass to carry sound from somewhere to here. [Mountain Man Acoustics 101. He passed it.] You expect me to believe that you could hear other places?

I have exceptionally good hearing.

[DUH.]

[That's just. No. He crosses his arms and gives her The Look. That look. The one that says "I don't believe you" in a million languages.]

[He shakes his head and rolls his eyes.]

Never mind. I'll find him on my own.

[And he moves to leave, grumbling:]

This is why reindeers are better than people.
