[OPEN] Catch all for Sarah!
Characters: Sarah and YOU!
Date: Throughout January. Dates will be in headers!
Location: All over the turtle. Mostly Wood Sector.
Situation: Sarah meets a bunch of people face to face + random thread starters!
Warnings/Rating: Nothing worth mention so far.
A.
Exploration has become a major part of Sarah's day. There's a lot on her mind, a lot more she'd rather forget and so she's doing all she can to keep busy. It helps that she's in a new area and things are pretty damn interesting compared to home. The wood sector remains her home turf and the place she's checked out the most, but from time to time, she wanders out of what she's dubbed her safe zone.
On this day however, she's looking a little lost. Map in hand, Sarah frowns at the page as she tries to work out just where the heck she is.
B.
She's in the marketplace, searching the stalls and browsing the variety at hand. From time to time, Sarah pauses to simply watch an exchange between two Kedan, or to stop and talk to one. Whatever it is she's looking for, the kid just can't seem to find it.

A good thing for her father, too.
"I'll try not to, but don't go lettin' me slack of either," she says, small smile still playing at her lips. "Ready to go when you are."

The kid shakes her head and glances up at Tess. "I was meaning more with just... living. I'm gonna do my part still, okay?"

"I'm sure you will. Can you cook? I never really learned, myself, so I've been eating out all the time..."

"Yeah I can cook," comes the reply. It's a surprise to hear that Tess never learned. "Dad worked late a lot, so it was cooking for myself, or with Uncle Tommy, or y'know, takeout."
She smiles up at Tess. "I can cook for you, maybe? Or help out with it. Somethin' to say thanks!"

"Don't see why not," comes the reply. "I mean I don't know that much, but I can do a bit, and the rest ain't that hard to work out."

She hesitates. "By the way - uh, if you don't want to stay alone... I've got plenty of room at my place? Maybe it's weird coming from a total stranger but, well. You're probably not used to living alone, huh?"

As for the question, Sarah's smile softens and she takes a moment to mull the offer over. "I think I'll try it out, stayin' where they put me that is. Just for a little while."
Space is both a comfort and a curse right now. Sarah just needs a little time to work things out in her mind. "Dad worked late a lot so it's not entirely weird. Well, it is weird. Really weird. But not the same kind of weird... or something."
There's words for what she's trying to say. Sarah's just failing horribly at finding them. "Thanks though. If it doesn't work out, I might just take you up on that."

"What are the houses like there?" she asks, forever eager to keep the conversation flowing. If she's talking, she can't think too much about what's happened.
