[OPEN] Catch all for Sarah!

Characters: Sarah and YOU!
Date: Throughout January. Dates will be in headers!
Location: All over the turtle. Mostly Wood Sector.
Situation: Sarah meets a bunch of people face to face + random thread starters!
Warnings/Rating: Nothing worth mention so far.

A.
Exploration has become a major part of Sarah's day. There's a lot on her mind, a lot more she'd rather forget and so she's doing all she can to keep busy. It helps that she's in a new area and things are pretty damn interesting compared to home. The wood sector remains her home turf and the place she's checked out the most, but from time to time, she wanders out of what she's dubbed her safe zone.

On this day however, she's looking a little lost. Map in hand, Sarah frowns at the page as she tries to work out just where the heck she is.

B.
She's in the marketplace, searching the stalls and browsing the variety at hand. From time to time, Sarah pauses to simply watch an exchange between two Kedan, or to stop and talk to one. Whatever it is she's looking for, the kid just can't seem to find it.

"Why were you shot?"

Again, diving into the realm of potentially too personal information, which is why she would not fault Sarah if the other girl chose not to answer.

"...the kind of sick that could hurt other people?"

It was the only logical conclusion. Knowing the world Sarah came from. Sick was hardly a reason to kill. Unless she had become an unwilling danger to others as well.

Sarah didn't even need to answer for Midii to gain a faint understanding of what had happened. The worst part was that she knew something similar could easily happen in her world, too. Maybe not for the social elite or government families...but if her father had the kind of sickness that could spread? To potential epidemic levels?

She'd believe it.

"I'm sorry that happened to you. You don't look sick, but that could be because they fixed you when you came here."

"Ellie, I know. She's the girl who swears like a soldier."

There's a faint smile when she said this, though. Midii was far used to that kind of language for it to affect her, though she had never adapted those particular speech patterns herself. For as poor as they had grown up, one of the few things her father had been able to do for her was teacher her how to speak to remain hidden. Blend in. No matter the class.
