The Brazen Turtle Rides Again

Situation: Bar fight/general mingle log, with threadstarters for fun and shenanigans!

Hey! Hey! [ Okay, this is not going well at all. With Jim already in the fray between the kedan and the Foreigner in question, Wild Tiger tries to keep others at bay and lead any bystanders back from the fray, but there's only one of him and too many loudmouthed, drunk assholes for him to do much good. Someone shatters a mug and that seems to be the end of the strained control. ]

That was good beer, jackass! [ What a waste! The gall of some people! If he could actually get over there, he'd give the man a piece of his mind. Instead, he worms his way through the crowd only to almost get smacked by a familiar fist. ]

D'ah! Korra! [ He holds up his hands in surrender, until his own fear turns to her safety. ] Behind you!

[Hearing her name stops the Avatar in mid-swing and she blinks at seeing Wild Tiger there, but his warning reminds her that she is in the middle of a huge fight. Reversing her motion, Korra slams her elbow into the face of the person behind her.]

Thanks! [Grabbing a chair that someone had raised over their head, Korra kicks them in the back and sets it down.] They’re going to wreck everything.

[She flashes a grin at the fellow fighter.]

Of course! That's my job! Er, our job! [ Nice save, Tiger! ] Anything that breaks gets taken out of my pay, so... Save the table, save the booze!

[Excellent save, Korra approves.]

Time to take out the trash! [There’s a reason she likes Mako’s cheesy lines, because hers aren’t much better.

Adjusting her armband, Korra breaks back into ruckus with a wheel kick to someone’s chin and uses the momentum behind it to push them into Tiger’s direction by snapping her leg back in. Mopping up the mess is just the kind of fun she’s been wanting, a good outlet. And best of all, she isn’t doing it alone.

Then she remembers:] The rooftop! Let’s get up there first.

[If the bar can avoid anything up there being broken first, all the better. Lugging up replacements over two floors doesn’t sound appealing. Of course, they’re going to have to fight their way there.]

Ahh, okay... that's... [ Should she be so willy nilly to just kick people in the face? Sure, they're starting fights, but neutralizing them is--Ah hell! This is such a clusterfuck already. ]

Rooftop? Alright, yes! Clear the way, people! Move to the exits in an orderly fashion!

[ Is that right? It's no burglary or terrorist attack. The police generally deal with bar fights, but they got to work the same way when you are trying to keep innocents out of the way?

Of course the problem is the stairs are clogged by onlookers trying to keep away from the pockets of fighting. ]

Hey! Don't just stand there! Just--Get outta the way!

[After kicking in a leg of one rather tall, rowdy patron, Korra uses his doubled over state to roll herself on his back so she can kick another one square in the chest with both legs. Then she turns back to slam the doubled over kedan’s face into the ground.]

It’s like earthbending. If you want a path, you make one! [She almost chirps at Wild Tiger. Of course that gets a small line of fighters following after Korra since she just knocked out their friend.

This party’s moving up.]

Keep going! [Running up the stairs with him, Korra plans to keep to the plan of working from top to bottom.]
