Characters: Booker and Elizabeth
Date: Way backdated to the start of the console crash event!
Location: Starting in Earth Sector; possibly moving elsewhere.
Situation: Booker got back from his mission just in time to see the city going up in smoke. Naturally, he's kind of freaked out and needs to find Elizabeth.
Warnings/Rating: None as yet! Will edit this if necessary.

Booker doesn't know what to expect as he makes his way through the city. He'd only stopped long enough to make sure the dignitaries they'd been escorting were safe, and now he's striding with purpose, his gun out and ready for a fight, just in case.

He has no idea what's happening, but he knows he needs to find his daughter.

"Elizabeth?" he calls as he approaches the suite they share. It's undamaged. He hasn't really been paying attention to what's damaged and what isn't, too closely, but all the residential buildings around them appear to be untouched - at least for the moment.

"Elizabeth!"

[They might have been running a little behind schedule, but so far so good. The kedan were very determined about getting to the shrine, despite the poor weather, so what else could they do but make sure they got there? Maybe someone should have mentioned that it was landslide season, or the birds liked to try and eat the natives, but all in all it could have gone worse...right?

Too bad they couldn't take the compass back with them, though.]

Situation: After making a huge fool of herself thanks to alcohol and love, Eponine is on a bender.
Warnings/Rating: CW for possible discussion of suicide?

[She'd told him she'd loved him. And Marius had in turn not been able to do so. Becuase he didn't love her. He loved another. But Eponine, spurred by the madness that effects women in love and alcoholics, had made a fool of herself. She'd begged him to kill her, if he could not say he loved her, threw herself on his feet, desperate for something more than simply his gratitude.

She would have killed herself. If it weren't for his instructions not to do so on his behalf.

Somehow that evening, she'd found herself back in her suite. And since then, she'd only moved when was absolutely necessary. When she had to go to work (and she would always leave with more bottles, already having been drinking the liquor that was supposed to be for customers) or when she had to do other such important tasks. So if you've been looking for Eponine, you're not going to find her, unless she's out looking for more to drink.

She's most often found in her suite, drinking herself to death. This, kids, is what we call a bender.]

Location: Vian Thax, the underwater hydrocity!
Situation: The rescue of MIA undercover agents placed by Eshai 10 years prior, now to be retrieved under Evandau’s orders. No man or woman left behind!
Warnings/Rating: None presently, will add if/when they arise.

Following a very brusque but instructive meeting with Emperor Evandau, complete with pictures of the targets, the six heroes are clear as to what their mission is. Plunge to the hidden, aquatic city of Vian Thax and recover three long-lost agents who have fallen out of contact and are presumed endangered or compromised. How it’s accomplished is not quibbled over, at least not with Evandau. That’ll be done once the chosen foreigners manage to infiltrate the sunken settlement and plan from there. Assuming they can actually work together, anyhow…

Equipment for underwater travel is granted to those who cannot do so under their own means, a map and limited supplies are given, the way is pointed. To Vian Thax!

Why: Because in 1776, General Washington lead his troops across the Delaware to defeat the British in the Battle of Trenton.
...You mean there's another reason behind Christmas?

Elizabeth had always had strange Christmases. Trees and presents were always set up in her tower, by forces she didn't know. Songbird would always arrive, a basket filled with gifts for her. And she would celebrate by herself, humming along to Christmas Carols. Some were the traditional ones of her time. Others were exclusive to Columbia, about General Washington and the other Founders. Because for the people of Columbia, Christmas was more about Washington than Jesus.

So this year, she was determined to do Christmas right. She'd prepared a roast ham, fixed hot cocoa, and made presents for all of her friends- knit sweaters and scarves. Well, not for Booker. Booker, she'd actually purchased a gift. A beautiful guitar that she had commissioned specifically for him. She'd heard him play once, and figured tonight, of all nights, he should play again.

There are numerous Christmas trees dotted through the house, and each Christmas tree is extravagantly decorated. They all have little hand-carved and painted ornaments, and for everyone that's been invited there is an ornament that's reminiscent of something from their home world or if Jim has no knowledge of it, something that seems specific to them in particular. There are names carved into the bottom of the ornaments, and people are free to take them home, they're essentially gifts!
