So what would you do if he just... showed up here?

[Well, he didn't make, but Prussia united a bunch his German bros into one nation and then suddenly there was a little German Empire and yeah...close enough.]

If West showed up, I'd keep doing what I've been doing. Show him around, he'd want to meet the Emperor probably and everyone else in charge. Not like he needs me doing everything for him, he handles most of the jobs with our boss back home.

What would you do if your brother showed up?

[The question, innocuous as it is, is like being hit in the gut. Definitely not what he was expecting. Jim'd figured Prussia for being too self-absorbed and borderline narcissistic to actually ask that sort of thing of other people out of the blue, and he has to draw in a deep, steady breath before he can answer.]

Well, I'm past wanting to punch him.

[He tries to phrase it as a joke, but it falls a little flat and Jim's smile is crooked.]
