He exhaled, and looked once more at the door, before looking back to her. But in the meantime of looking, he noticed something on the floor that definitely didn't belong to him. Hell, it didn't look like it belonged to Korra, either. He frowned at it, before stooping down to pick it up. A ring?

No, it was different somehow.

He focused in on it, turning it over in his hands, before the compulsion to see just how it was different finally overcame him. He slid the ring on his finger and stared at it for a minute. Well-- this was pretty pointless and he still didn't have the first thing he needed, which was an ambulance.

... until a familiar siren goes off in the distance.

... Well, okay.

The ring had to come from her, there was no way something like that just accidentally rolled into his hands like that. And after the green constructs showed up, he realized what about the ring struck him as special. He'd gotten just what he wanted and needed, and he couldn't help but feel relieved.

Strange green things aside.

He sighed in relief. "At least it's getting better now."
