skericide. Her usual hangouts are at her dojo in Wood, her suite ME-2A, the hospital in Metal, Jack's Fishing Shop in Water, or the Brazen Turtle in the center of Keeliai. But Korra can be at any sector on just about any day. Prose or brackets, they're both good!)

Annabeth;
The park was the usual go to spot, but taking a leisurely pace on the sidewalk on the way there seemed perfect given the fairly nice day. Of course there was usually one complaint from someone being bumped by her animal companion.
"Sorry, she didn’t mean it." Korra called out behind her as they continued on underneath a large awnings of one of the buildings, the shade being a welcome relief from the sun.

It's never all that pleasant, no matter how many times Annabeth has done it by now, so she braces herself as the hellhound runs right for a long stretch of shadows and disappears.
They peal out of the darkness a few seconds later, literally almost reverse melting from the shadows of one of the buildings near her suite in Metal. Annabeth's too busy trying to regain her bearings, though, clutching into the dog's fur while readjusting to the sudden brightness, not entirely aware of anything (or anyone) else around her for a few moments.

"What?" Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, but Korra trusted the animal’s instincts and it only took a moment before a large black dog emerged right in front of her from seemingly nowhere.
Korra paced backwards in surprise and had her hands before her in a defensive stance, Naga growling warningly. It took her a moment to see that the creature wasn’t alone and she looked from the dog to the girl.
"Uh, hi?" She wasn’t sure what to do just then. It was the first time she’d ever seen a dog that size that wasn’t Naga, at least not a tame one. And she was really hoping that it was tame.

Invincible;
Having fun?
[She asks without receiving a verbal answer, but Eshai lets her know that they’re not alone in the skies right now. Pausing the slow air cruise, Korra looks around to see just what she means.]
Re: Invincible;
Hey Korra.
[Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait.
Mark skids to a halt and spins around.]
...Korra?

And there it is.
She busts up laughing and leads the gigantic crib behind her to catch up with him.]
Hey. Didn't think we'd see you up here today. [Eshai climbs up so her flippers are on the edge of the rail to look at two of her three 'parents'.]
Lantern stuff. [A green light flashes brightly from her ring.] Still getting the hang of it.

Leonardo; Backdated to early March
The real reason for the investment was because of why there was a tapping at her window.
Korra was arranging the personal belongings on her dresser when she heard it. A small stone statue of Naga, a small coupon booklet that was missing a page, a ceramic turtle tea pot set, and a personalized note from Eshai next to the Christmas gifts she received from the late Emperor.
"Leonardo?" Korra stepped onto her bed and went to open the window. It wasn’t often she had a visit from the remaining blue leader; the last visit had ended with an ache and a void in her small circle of friends she trusted. "Are you okay?" The question practically fell out of her mouth as backed up to let him get inside.
Mike having injuries had been one thing, but Leonardo was another thing altogether.

Leonardo is many things, but a whiner isn't one of them. He can handle pain. He's had broken bones, stab wounds, gashes - let them all roll off his shell without blinking an eye. He'd thought this time should have been no different.
Guess he forgot to take into account that he was always bad at lying, and had always been found out by Don or Master Splinter back home. No one ever allowed him to go untreated the way he's allowed it now.
It's not a big deal. He'd told himself that, and a part of him still believed it, even as he was reduced to using one arm to drag himself up the side of Korra's building while the other hung limp at his side. He tells himself that as he perches on the window and taps the glass, a light sheen of sweat coating his brow.
The moment he sees her worried face, he begins to doubt his own judgment.
"I'm fine," he says, slipping forward into the space she provides by pedaling back. He lands with a soft groan, going to hold his left arm in place as he stands. "Just... had a bit of an accident."
no subject
"Did you fall sideways into a moving car?" Asked dryly as she assessed his injuries, easier now that he was in the light of her room, and Korra looked up at him briefly. She was tempted to remind him that she volunteered at the hospital that had just opened up in February. That these kinds of injuries that Mike usually sported couldn’t possibly be a simple slip down the stairs, not when the turtles were hardier than most other foreigners she knew.
But she would tend to him first, adding stress on top of it wasn’t going to help the healing process. "Have a seat, looks like you could use it."

wood sector; near the dojo
Akito still chooses to keep a weapon on him; a small carving knife, sheathed and attached to his thigh, hidden by the top he wears that could either be a long shirt or a short dress. The ambiguity of his appearance is something he takes advantage of because it makes him feel just a bit safer, as does the alias he still chooses to goes by. Without Agito, Akito had to make due with finding other - less effective - methods of making himself feel secure. It's not optimal, but it helps.
Which is why, when he spots a type of bird he's never seen before, instead of being too scared to follow and get a closer look (too many what ifs), Akito thinks back to his SWAT stealth training and hurries after it. He's out of practice, but manages to be stealthy enough that he can keep track of where the bird is. It's just a matter of hoping it touches down soon, so he can get a better idea of what it looks like before it disappears.
((ooc: i hope this is alright. if not, just let me know!))

But she stops when the giant polar bear dog that's been laying on the ground behind her lifts its ears and head. Alert and attentive. A look Korra knew very well and she silently lowered the water back to the pond.
When Naga got to her feet, Korra followed what the animal was looking at, and she only caught a glimpse of the bird before the polar bear dog made a huge leap forward. In mid-air, she caught the bird between her teeth and landed while shaking her catch.
Korra rushed over and brought her hands up to Naga's snout. "You got it, good girl!" Normally Korra had to take Naga out of the city to make sure she kept her animal instincts sharp, but getting a little bit of that practice in the city was never a bad thing.
Hunting was something Korra liked to do on occasion and hunting with Naga was even better since she preferred to have her animal companion with her most of the time.
After she finished gobbling down the bird, Naga sniffed at the air and padded over to one of the walls encasing the exterior of the dojo.
"Something else?" Korra followed and put her hands on her hips, looking up at the wall and keeping an ear out now that her friend point it out to her.

somewhere in the fire sector
To be fair, things hadn't been exactly great since... last month? two months ago? but recently it just seemed like this place was giving him more reasons to feel depressed. He was trying not to, really, but between him quitting the superhero life, Aya berating him and that Saint Walker dude - Hal couldn't help but feel the pressure of just about everything.
Of course, he knew part of the problem was himself, but he had never been good with problems that concerned himself. Besides, it wasn't as if the ring was with anybody bad - Korra seemed good, from what little he knew of her, and she would probably do a better job than he himself ever could.
That still didn't make things easier, though.
There hasn't been much for him to do ever since giving up his ring, and so Hal wanders around the Fire Sector, taking a bit of fresh air after having spent most of the morning cooped up in his place. No matter how long it had been since his arrival here, he still wasn't really happy about being here on this giant turtle.]
no subject
Well, that and the gangs. A simple round of tea shopping and sweeping the streets is her idea of a good day.
And she is literally sweeping the streets with a giant green broom that has some gang members trapped in the bristles. But she stops mid-air when she sees Hal. It's his ring, she learned that early on and Korra had no idea if he knew she had it. But obviously he'll know now. She touches on to the ground and her Green Lantern uniform reverts back to her usual clothes.]
Hey. Found something of yours. [She pointes her thumb over her shoulder at the thugs trying to get out.] Not them, I mean.

/after her little scuffle with Bakura
[She needed somebody who she could not only trust, but trust to understand enough to not freak out.]
[Which is what led her to Korra's door.]

Hey, come on in. [It’s almost routine for her to see someone in need of patching thanks to being the turtles’ personal medic, but Zatanna’s never been one of Korra’s ‘house patients’ before.]

Jack;
The green trail behind her faded as she sped into the Water Sector. Jack was there, on top of the fishing shop where they agreed to meet and talk. Korra touched down near him, her Green Lantern uniform changing back to her normal clothing.
"Hey, thanks for coming out tonight." She really needed someone to talk to, and Jack's been one of the few constants on the turtle she could rely on.

POST CONTACT WITH JOEL
About her leg. "It'll be faster by motorcycle." He practically curses under his breath. He wished he had a satomobile right then, or that there was an ambulance that they could call. Though he'd kept his head calm and collected when Joel was there, there was no reason to keep as collected. And he found it nearly impossible to keep himself collected when Korra's safety was on his mind.
His arms tightened around her and he made good on his word to get them to his suite as fast as humanly possible.
no subject
"Okay." It was all Korra could even think of as her face grew pale and little beads of sweat formed on her forehead. Her breathing was going from being quick and anxious, to what could almost be relaxed. Slower and more steady, but not nearly as strong.

Mako; Post-Console Crash Chaos
Korra had little time to really think of the day itself.
But one thing she did know was that nothing felt right, and now that the consoles were down; staying at her suite didn't feel like an option. Not in the condition she was in. Both physically and mentally.
That's why she touched down at Mako's suite, the green energy reinforcing her splint was keeping her steady. She went inside and looked about, her gait turning into a limp as the energy faded.
"Mako, are you here?"
no subject
"I'm here," he called out in response, stepping to the doorway. What he'd seen of the fires and the spores hadn't looked good. And it looked like there were going to be some hard times ahead, especially with food. "Sit," he said, motioning to a simple chair, pushed up against the wall. He didn't need to see much to know that her leg was still very much injured.
He'd have offered the couch, but it was out of the question, and he half considered torching the damn thing earlier.

THE NEXT MORNING because w/e ok.
He tilted his head upwards just a bit so that he could see Korra. And unbidden, he smiled. He was still feverish, but he needed to get up. He could make her breakfast and get... her help back to her place. Or something. He had to admit to himself that he still didn't feel well enough to go outside. But he shifts her arms off of him, and sits up-- and just like it had before, the world tilts in an uncomfortable way.
Way too uncomfortable, and everything he'd had for dinner last night was starting to come back in a bad way. He clamped his hand over his mouth and took off for the bathroom immediately, if a bit unbalanced.

Splint.
She had completely forgotten about her leg and then her fingers closed into her hands. "Mako?" Last she remembered was him being out cold and feverish, and he wasn't there now. Carefully, she moved off the bed and slowly got to her feet. The sounds of the bathroom told her the 'where' and Korra limped her way over there.
"How do you feel?" Asked before she finished opening the door. She was surprised to see him standing up, toothbrush in his mouth. He certainly looked better.
"Mako..." her eyes moved from his eyes, to the toothbrush, and then to the bathroom sink. "Did you-" Her eyes widened and she looked up at him.
