Situation: Tu Vishan has made landfall on Siaxhi, to explore the Dreaming Watch City of Valishaera.

As Tu Vishan draws near, the heavy jungle visible even from miles out quickly identifies the landmass as Siaxhi, one of the westernmost continents in Konryu and one that has been largely untouched insofar as the kedan themselves have gone. There is a natural inlet along the southeast shore on the continent and Tu Vishan makes for that, though he fills nearly all of it.

Wally likes libraries, even if they're not the most exciting place. Not to him, anyway, from the looks of things they are very exciting to other people.

On the one hand, he doesn't feel like he should interrupt whatever it is Superman is doing. On the other hand, he really wants to know what exactly he's doing.

"Are you just looking at the pictures or what?"

[andaway]

He actually laughs, then shows the kid how 'Towards the End of the Morning', the last book he's checking, doesn't actually have pictures. Just the text.

"Did you know this library can give you every single book you remember? Or gazettes-" He grabs the last number be ever read of Vogue, also showing it to him. "Isn't it great? I was trying to test it."

That's actually pretty awesome, if that's really what the books do. He might have to test it himself. He grins at the books being shown to him.

"Cool. Do you think it would work for comic-" Yeah, he stops himself once he realizes what he's looking at. "You read Vogue?"

[andaway]

He looks down at the kid with a raised eyebrow, as if actually surprised he'd ask that of all things.

"It's... Vogue. Of course I read it. Where I'm supposed to get the information on what's in next month, or useful advise? Not that I can do much about it when I have to wear these clothes but a guy can dream."

Something about this doesn't feel quite right, but Wally doesn't know Superman well enough to really say anything about it.

"If it's that big a deal you could probably switch up the colors, I mean... Who would stop you? The fashion police?" He pauses. "The super fashion police?"

[andaway]

"Oh, you have no idea how picky civilians are about what us metas wear when running or flying around. I changed my outfit once, too fit my new powers- I was suddenly pure electricity so obviously I thought: Light blue. I know, right?" He replies, to a question Wally has obviously not asked. "It was perfect. Blue is such a dynamic color, isn't it? Blue is progress, wearing a sky blue suit made me think of the new millennium and it just worked so well.

But what did the audience think?" He gives him a thumbs down, and might even be pouting a bit.

As fast as Wally can think it still takes him a few seconds to really process what is being said to him.

"I'm... sorry that happened to you. That really," he pauses, it sounds ridiculous, but Wally doesn't want to hurt his feelings or anything. "Sounds. Awful?"

[andaway]

"It's not too bad, at least I get to wear blue anyway."

He tilts his head. "Your outfit on the other hand? Far too loud for me. But somehow you pull it off- I could never do it."

"Oh, Dude. Thanks!" He puffs out his chest, he's quite proud. The outfit hardly ever gets compliments, that's so weird.

"Totally designed it myself."

[andaway]

"Well, no offense but I can tell. It's so- you, but that isn't a bad thing really. It has personality.

It doesn't quite go with your skin tone, though. Have you ever tried going Peach?"

Oh, well never mind about being proud. 'It has personality' sounds like getting a ribbon for 'participating.'

"Peach? Isn't that...That's pink isn't it?"

[andaway]

Superman actually rolls his eyes at that.

"That's like saying Salmon is pink." Because it fucking is, Clark.

"But Salmon is pink too!"

At least, he's pretty sure it is?

[andaway]

He shakes his head.

"In theory, but it's completely different shades and it looks completely different against people's skins. For example you'd look terrible in salmon, but I still highly recommend peach."

"But I like yellow."

He crosses his arms and definitely does not look or sound like a five year old.

He puts a hand on his hip with a scoff.

"It was merely a suggestion. Isn't yellow kind of... counterproductive for missions in the dark or when you have to hide?"
