Situation: Tu Vishan has made landfall on Siaxhi, to explore the Dreaming Watch City of Valishaera.

As Tu Vishan draws near, the heavy jungle visible even from miles out quickly identifies the landmass as Siaxhi, one of the westernmost continents in Konryu and one that has been largely untouched insofar as the kedan themselves have gone. There is a natural inlet along the southeast shore on the continent and Tu Vishan makes for that, though he fills nearly all of it.

Did she tell you about the Avatar?

[He hurried along, Mula slowly leading them deeper into the Mushroom Forest. Wan trusted her implicitly so he wasn't at all worried by how far they were travelling just to chase after her.]

I believe she IS one if I understood correctly.

[The surroundings continue to be rather strange to Enjolras, but he is actually enjoying this all the same, running through the large mushrooms. Much as the aren't real at home, he half expects to see faeries, given the presence of the mushrooms. Which feels a little foolish but one never knows here, do they?]

Your deercat [Or is that the other way around? He is not certain.] seems to be giving us quite the pleasant path to explore.

Catdeer and she is. And yes, Korra is an Avatar, too.

[There was small laugh as he jogged up to the crest of a hill. Once there he stopped and stood, staring for a long moment. In the small hollow on the other side was a fallen mushroom, long since dead and dried brown. It's plant flesh petrified by time instead of decomposing. Near one side was a set of saddlebags that Mula was pawing at and nosing. Falling out of the bags was Wan's teapot.

In the next moment, he was rushing over, sliding down the hill to give the catdeer a hug and a good chin scritching.]

Mula!

Catdeer.

[Enjolras corrects himself so that he can remember this in more detail the next time, if it comes up in future conversations. Really, he doubts he'd be asking how Wan's catdeer is, instead of using her actual name, but one never does know. He's about to say something more, but then even the thought is stopped as they come near Mula again.

Watching her, he does have to admit that she is rather striking.]

[After a few moments of a very heartfelt reunion, Wan remembered they weren't alone and turned his attention to Enjolras, waving him closer.]

Come meet Mula. She's friendly. She's not tame, but she is friendly.

[solo_patria]

I would like that very much.

[Enjolras carefully approached the creature, lest he should scare her away. Up close, one could really appreciate her beauty, giving Wan a questioning sort of smile while he held his hand outstretched for here to sniff. That was all right so far, wasn't it?]

[raavashing]

[Mula sniffed at Enjolras' hand for a moment before stepping around and forward to push her head under it and slip his whole arm over her horns. It made his arm fall around her neck and gave easy reach for him to scratch behind her ears or under her horns while her head leaned into his chest. Mula was definitely friendly.

While she did that - purring happily - Wan moved off to check the saddle bags.

His face lit up when he opened them.]

My teapot!

[Enjolras had to laugh as the head was pushed under his hand, because, yes, he was very reminded of cats, and the feline parts of her nature were immediately very very clear. And then his arm was sliding around his neck, and he was reminded of a particular horse of an uncle's who had met once as a young child. It was far more pleasant than petting a horse, actually, there was a LOT less drool and smell.]

It is very good to meet you. [Enjolras assumed that she could understand the context of the words well enough, and forgot to feel foolish about speaking to an animal like this. Instead, he busied himself in giving her little scritches, then grinned over at Wan's exclamation. ]

It IS always rather nice to find reminders of home here. I found some of my writing things, earlier.
