Situation: Tu Vishan has made landfall on Siaxhi, to explore the Dreaming Watch City of Valishaera.

As Tu Vishan draws near, the heavy jungle visible even from miles out quickly identifies the landmass as Siaxhi, one of the westernmost continents in Konryu and one that has been largely untouched insofar as the kedan themselves have gone. There is a natural inlet along the southeast shore on the continent and Tu Vishan makes for that, though he fills nearly all of it.

[Tony's reply is interrupted by a huge yawn, and he has to blink vigorously to keep his eyes from sliding closed. Nothing like a warm chocolatey drink and staying up till dawn to make you sleepy. He's about to fall asleep right here at the kitchen table.]

[Gene seems to realize what time it is, and stands, ready to take his mug to the sink.] Shit, it's...early. I'd better go.

...Right. I guess so. [Tony sits up, yawning again, and looks out the window. Welp. That sure is some sunlight out there.]

Good...night? Good morning? [Bye, glad you liked the hot chocolate, thanks for not going mad with power and murdering me? Does anybody have a book of etiquette for mending bridges with your ex-supervillain-archnemesis that he can borrow?]

[Tony, the proper etiquette for this is to invite him to sleep over. Clearly.]

Yeah, uh. Thanks for the hot chocolate. See you later, I guess, [Gene mumbles, and makes for the door. He's not sure what he'd been expecting from this, but this is awkward now and he's not here for it. He just wants to go back to his suite and sleep until this whole thing has blown over.

Tony's got time enough to say one more thing, if he wants.]

[He has a weird urge to ask if Gene wants to crash here, but that's stupid. It's not like he has a long walk home or anything: he can teleport. Anyway, Gene never took him up on that offer in high school, so Tony can't see why he would now. Since they're kind-of-enemies now, instead of kind-of-dating.

...Not that he'd be suggesting it for the same reasons, of course. Obviously a sleepover would have had very different connotations in high school, when he'd still had a huge crush on Gene and hadn't known that he was a freakin' supervillain. Now it would just be, like, you know, letting him nap on the couch for a couple hours instead of making him walk home in the middle of the night - er, morning - after an intense and exhausting argument. Which he doesn't have to do anyway. Because he can teleport. So, kind of pointless, really.

...Oh my god, why is he still thinking about this? Clearly the sleep deprivation has addled his brain. Shut up, brain.

He manages to keep himself from blurting out anything idiotic, and shuffles awkwardly after Gene, following him to the foyer to see him off.]

[Gene looks like he's going to say something else, pausing at the doorframe - but then he seems to think better of it, and, with a wave, he leaves.
