Obi-Wan is still somewhat adjusting to things here on Keeliai. So the fact that the giant turtle makes landfall on a continent is surprising and piques his curiosity.

He can be found either wandering around the streets of Keeliai or Tavimbi. Willing to talk to just about anybody. Especially the Kedan and the Tavimbi natives.

Upon sensing a power that is not unlike the Force within Tavimbi, which he comes to know as the Xunutane, he will make checking that out his highest priority.

"Tell me about it." Although Cain was used to life happening, including injury and death as a part of that, it still tended to make for happier people if unfortunate accidents didn't happen at every turn. Considering where they were and all the possibilities, he was very okay with how little that seemed to actually occur.

At the suggestion, he grinned widely. He was definitely beginning to like this guy, if nothing more than as an acquaintance. "Sure, drinks on me. Come on, I know a bar near here."

"Then by all means, lead the way," Obi-Wan said while sweeping his hand towards the street. The Jedi Master following alongside him once Cain got started. He would have to admit that he was starting to like this fellow as well. Despite the fact that he felt rather peculiar, Obi-Wan wasn't one to turn down a potential friendship.

Cain led the way while pointing out an interesting building or place every now and then. Nothing world-shattering but it was obvious he paid attention to the lives going on around him and what might make the city alive more than just a place to live. He was the perceptive and grateful sort, not one to look down on life's little blessings. Almost an odd thing for how young he looked, really.

When they got to the bar — more of a pub, really — Cain held the door open and let his guest go first. Considering the time of day, it wasn't particularly busy which meant less annoyance or eavesdroppers for whatever this guy might have to say about his own world. Cain was certainly interested in it, even if it turned out to be something rather mundane all told. "Order whatever you want," he entreated, motioning for Obi-Wan to pick their seating.

Obi-Wan follows, but there's a moment of pause at the door that's held open for him. This... is not something he's accustomed to. Where he comes from doors open themselves. He's had to get used to opening a door manually. That was an adventure in itself. He had forgotten at one point, and while he wasn't paying attention, managed to run right into one. That was embarrassing to say the least. But this is the first time someone's held a door open FOR him. Strange planet. Obi-Wan walks through after only a moment of hesitation, followed by a word of thanks.

After taking a look around, Obi-Wan leads the way to a booth in the back of the establishment. It's quieter there, and yes, fewer eavesdroppers.

"Do you have any recommendations?" he asked, certainly having not been in this pub before and not really knowing what sorts of things they served here. He's pretty sure they wouldn't have Jawa Juice.

Noticing the hesitation wasn't hard. Whatever it was in reaction to, it seemed Obi-Wan was able to get over it and continue following him in, and so Cain didn't see fit to mention it for now. That could be done later if it needed to be, and even if it didn't maybe whatever trails their conversation went down would shed some light on it. This was, after all, just a run of the mill bar on the back of a gigantic turtle. Couldn't be all that weird, could it?

"I try to go for something new every time I come in, but the roasted vegetable salad isn't bad," Cain said as he looked over the menu that had been left on the table. This place liked to have table-settings ready for anyone who came in to let people have more time to themselves. It would give them a couple of minutes, anyway. "All the writing here is local, so I can read what's available today if you need it."

"That would be appreciated, thank you."

Obi-Wan knew several languages but he hadn't had the time to pick up any of the local ones yet. He eventually settled on the salad that Cain had recommended and a side of deep fried Kirin strips. This was followed by a drink made by fermented fruit that was supposed to be only mildly alcoholic.

He was certainly no stranger to exotic cuisines back home and has found what the Kedan offered to be no less interesting.
