Obi-Wan is still somewhat adjusting to things here on Keeliai. So the fact that the giant turtle makes landfall on a continent is surprising and piques his curiosity.

He can be found either wandering around the streets of Keeliai or Tavimbi. Willing to talk to just about anybody. Especially the Kedan and the Tavimbi natives.

Upon sensing a power that is not unlike the Force within Tavimbi, which he comes to know as the Xunutane, he will make checking that out his highest priority.

Feel free to find him just about anywhere!

Ah ha. He had a feeling there was more to it.

"He was angry because he cared for you. Yes, it is good that he came to your aid. However, it sounds to me that his rage and anger stemmed from a fear of losing you. This is often how many find themselves going down the wrong path. That is why Jedi forsake any attachments to things or people."

The road to hell is paved with good intentions so to speak.

She was not shaken in the least.

"Your logic is flawed. It was, in fact, Razer's...connection..." (for lack of the ability for her to accurately define what they had) "...to both myself as well as my fellow Green Lanterns that allowed him to travel the right path."

...granted, it was also the pain of loss that had led him to receive a ring in the first place, but Aya only knew of those circumstances through Razer's memories.

He raises his brows at that.

"Well, then I suppose we'll just have to agree to disagree. I only have a vague understanding of how things work in your world."

He only knew how things tended to go in his own.

"...I accept your compromise."

Though she was not overly happy about it.

It was a contrast of experiences, and Obi-Wan knew that. There was no sense in debating the matter further, and the last thing he wanted to do was completely offend someone he'd only just met.

"I must admit, the similarities between are two worlds is rather fascinating. I am grateful that you've shared information with me."

The corners of her lips twitched upward ever so slightly. A smile.

"It is not often that there are people with...vaguely similar experiences to compare with. Let alone those who are willing to ask."

And Obi-Wan smiled back.

"I've always had a desire to learn," he admits.

Which brings them back to why they had come here to Aya's little lab in the first place.

"And I appreciate your help with this experiment as well. I believe these crystals have potential. Odd how they are the source of the truth outbreak, though."

Aya nodded at that.

"Odd...but not improbable. I have encountered other crystals in the past that caused a variety of...unique scenarios. Including one that would deplete my energy resources whenever I came within a certain range."

"A crystal that absorbed energy instead of generating it?"

That's certainly interesting, he hadn't ever encountered anything like that.

"These are not unlike the kyber crystal in my lightsaber. They have a strong connection to the Force, and provide the energy to create the blade. I've also felt a similar power from Hatal's crystals, including the Xunutane."

"I cannot verify that is the process that occurred. As I am unable to get close enough to the crystals to perform a proper analysis, I cannot ascertain whether it was absorbing my energy or producing an energy-canceling radiation. However, I can tell you that both my power and those of my fellow Green Lanterns did return soon after removal of the crystals' presence without the usual recharging methods."

Which led her to believe the latter.

"If that's the case, then energy canceling radiation would make more sense," he agreed.

As he spoke, Obi-Wan was configuring the pieces of metal as he thought of ways to put them together to for the Lightsaber. Of course he would still need to find the parts for the inner workings but this was a good start.

She watched him manipulate the items provided with curiosity. Memorizing the specific configurations out of habit.

"Is everything to your satisfaction at this time?"

"It is, thank you for your help. This is certainly a good start for my project. Perhaps you could also point me in the right direction of a source for some of the inner circuitry and mechanisms as well?"

He didn't want to ask too much of her.

With a nod, Aya held up her palm and activated what looked like a glowing, green, three-dimensional hologram of the Metal District's markets.

"These vendors here--" indicated by blinking dots "--are in possession of what I have found to be the highest quality materials. Most of them are reasonably priced as well."

"Mind if I download that?" Obi-Wan asks, and withdraws a small holo emitter from his belt. That way he can have a record of the map and remember the locations.

"Thank you, Aya. You've been most kind and helpful. You have my gratitude."

[looksfine]

"Not at all."

While he prepared his holo-emitter, Aya performed a few minor calculations on her part, deliberately omitting any elements of data that might exclusively be read in Oan.

"My apologies if there are any errors in translation. The local matrixes here used to offer verbal translations do not extend to that of written communications. Nor does any Oan technology, such as myself."

Once the emitter was ready, Obi-Wan offered it over for download, however that was to happen.

"I'm sure I'll manage somehow," he says with a smile.
