Situation: Tu Vishan continues swimming along the ocean floor after his monumental dive, but it turns out there are a whole bunch of undead that want in on the party!

[The smile Kal had on his lips at seeing Kon recover soon slips away into a frown when Kon mentions the 'future'. Or Kal's present, as he sees it.]

I- [He'd thought this being the second time he went through this would make things easier. It doesn't.] I won't let him get near you, or hurt you. Ever. If... that was what you were worried about.

[tactile_telekinesis]

[The frown almost had him panicking, Kon knew this wasn't going to be a fun subject. What he didn't expect though, was for him to say anything like that. Touching was too much of a strange word to use for it, but it definitely meant something to him.

Kon shook his head.]

I'm not worried. [It was a lie, he was still absolutely terrified.] But if anything happens, I'm not as strong as I will be but I'm still part Kryptonian so...could you make sure I don't do anything?

[He asks because Kal was someone he trusted here. Someone he knew without a doubt, and hopefully without kryptonite that would be able to hold him back.

Kon runs a hand through his hair, pulling back the curls at the front.]

I was totally angry before. I mean, really angry. I felt like no one trusted me or liked me and wanted to keep me in the dark about everything. Maybe you all did any way but...I should have asked you...anyone, what happens. You know, instead of finding out and getting angry.

[He's saying sorry without actually saying it.]

[He was so not expecting to have this kind of talk, not right now. Not yet.

Kon is right, they had been all trying to hide it in a way. It hadn't been consciously, at least not on Kal's part. At least not until Lex had arrived. And then it was all too real, he just didn't want Luthor to get near him and letting him know seemed like the fastest way to catalyze disaster.]

It wasn't an issue of trust, that much I can tell you. Should have seen you were feeling this way. [He flies nearer, not really sure on how to go about this.] Are you still angry?

It'd be understandable.

[tactile_telekinesis]

[He couldn't help but bring it up. Saving it for later would keep being that very thing, 'later'. There was doubt he would ever bring it up again and just keep it to himself even though he had spoken to so many people about it.

His brow was creased and he shook his head.]

I'm pretty good at hiding things, no one did. [He pauses.]

Not...really? I'm not exactly the happiest person ever but...I'm not angry the way I was. I've had time to calm down and listen to what people had to say. There's still anger, I mean I didn't like what I saw. Smallville High? Really, Kal? [He smiles a little.] Talk about a borefest!

[andaway]

[He knows he's trying to make him laugh, he knows. But it's hard to let himself do more than a little smile when he feels Kon slipping away like he did that last time.]

I thought it'd help you adapt to a normal life like I did, but you never really seemed to like the idea.

[He sighs, looking down. The little cube is done working, he can tell they won't be any more energized than this.] I... well, now you know. There isn't much more I can tell you that you don't know already if they showed you, but if there's any way I can help you just tell me.

[tactile_telekinesis]

I don't think I'm the kinda person to really have a normal life no matter what anyone does. [He tried that once when he had no powers, it kind of sucked. But now, he kind of appreciates that Kal tried and that he wanted to give him what he had had.]

I really appreciate it though, honest.

[He nods at that and smiles.]

I will. You're not gonna let this hang around you, are you?

I'm not really known for letting things hang around me, no. I don't want to overwhelm you now that you've told me you know all this, but I don't want you to think we're done here either.

[He flies closer to him, placing a hand on his shoulder.] You'll still come around our house to eat every now and then, won't you?

[He looks at his shoulder and continues to stare there as Kal asks him the question and he smiles more looking back at him.]
