Event | Landfall | Bresilyk | Aihsohlow
Characters: Any and all!
Date: December 3 - 11, 2013
Location: Aihsohlow, Bresilyk (landfall)
Situation: Tu Vishan makes landfall at the winterbound republic of Bresilyk!
Warnings/Rating: Please include warnings in comment subject lines
OOC Post | Approved Items | Special Gifts
Aihsohlow | Phorezton | Markutte | Countryside
The starting point of landfall and the smallest port of importance in all the republic. All visitors will have a fish mark stamped on their tin visa if they are granted access here. The homes here are sturdy and built to withstand the harsh sea winds, though the dome has rendered their sturdiness largely irrelevant as the years pass. Fish represent the primary theme of food, with preserved and smoked renditions a commodity often sent for trade to others towns. Local authorities will ask for the tin card visa of each visitor upon first sight, verifying the information with some scrutiny before handing it back and allowing them to continue onwards. There are some auctions held here, with the items obtained often showing signs of recovery from the ocean floor by diving parties in search of fish to net.

Big Brother!Jack was easily the most adorable of all Jacks. Even Zatanna had to smile, despite her wariness when it came to small children. There was no signs of wariness now, however, as she hung back for a few and watched the little girl in his lap tell him all the stories. She couldn't hear what they were actually saying, but it didn't matter.
"Aren't you going to introduce me to the newest girl in your life, Jack?" With a wink, she eventually came over to sit beside him, offering the tiny kedan a warm smile in greeting. "What's your name, sweetie?"

"I'm Coree," the girl said, giving her nickname. "My hair is blue today! And I maded ripplies on my skin!" she turned to show off her cheek which did indeed bear a pretty pattern, like the bottom of a swimming pool in the sunlight.
no subject
"Very cool." It wasn't patronizing, either. "You pull both looks off better than I ever could."
no subject
"Corele's mom and dad had some selling to do," he explained. "So she's hanging out with Baby Tooth and I today."
no subject
"You have no idea how hard it is to book this guy, with how popular he is around here. Forget about one-on-one time. You're a lucky girl today, Coree. I'm almost a little jealous."
Baby Tooth fluttered over to her, in between nibbling on her own treat. Zatanna glanced up, offering the tiny fairae a small pat on the head.
"You too."
no subject
Corele giggled again, not fully understanding everything that Zatanna was saying (though Baby Tooth did, and chirped bemusedly).
"Maybe I should start selling tickets then," Jack smirked.

(She said, knowing fully well she would stay up all night long if it were physically possible.)

That was what she saw now, as she watch Jack play along with Coree's adorable antics.
"I can leave, if you two want some alone time." It was only partially a joke.

"Alright, I suppose I can stay for a bit." She turned her attention back to the little girl, giving her nose a very light poke. "But I want to hear more about you. For one, how'd you and Jack meet?"
no subject
Jack laughed a little and volunteered a translation. "That was, the snowcones. And I bought some bookmarks."
"I said that!"
no subject
"You mean the day all the kids started calling you Snow Boy?"
no subject
She squealed playfully, trying to bat his hands out of her hair as though he'd rub the blue right out of it.
no subject
That's what she got for showing off her magic. Although, speaking of...
"You know," she began, only half joking, "Watching you two right now...if I colored Jacks' hair blue, I'm sure the two of you could easily pass for brother and sister."
no subject
"Or Corele could shift her hair white," he suggested, tweaking her bangs playfully. "How about it?"
"No I like blue today!"
Jack laughed. "Okay, blue it is..."
no subject
"You heard the little lady. Blue is in. Think you're ready to try a new look?"

Once she was done, she leaned back on both hands to admire her work.
"Well, Coree? What do you think?"
no subject
Jack ran a hand through his hair, though it felt no different to him. "Looks like we're going to start a new trend," he announced.
no subject
"I don't think I could manage a whole head of blue. Maybe a couple strands here and there."
no subject
The little girl, thrilled at having another head of hair to 'decorate' with her newest favourite colour, bounced excitedly.
no subject
"I feel like I'm goign to a rave." she commented absently as she finished the last of the highlights.
