The starting point of landfall and the smallest port of importance in all the republic. All visitors will have a fish mark stamped on their tin visa if they are granted access here. The homes here are sturdy and built to withstand the harsh sea winds, though the dome has rendered their sturdiness largely irrelevant as the years pass. Fish represent the primary theme of food, with preserved and smoked renditions a commodity often sent for trade to others towns. Local authorities will ask for the tin card visa of each visitor upon first sight, verifying the information with some scrutiny before handing it back and allowing them to continue onwards. There are some auctions held here, with the items obtained often showing signs of recovery from the ocean floor by diving parties in search of fish to net.

Most likely. I tend to prefer it raw, but we don't exactly "cook" back home. [A light shrug.] So how are things going?

Food was never meant to be fancy unless for a special occasion, so Thanagarians weren't all that picky. (Well, let's see. She lost her flight and broke her arm in the process, a future Batman came and told her about her son but won't say anything else, she's apparently the parent of a baby turtle now.) It's like home. Chaotic, yet still somehow tolerable. Nothing to really complain about.

Sounds about like Atlantis. Though there isn't enough variety for anyone to be picky. [Fish and seaweed. More fish and seaweed. Sometimes shellfish. More seaweed. But it's not so bad. The comment just makes him smile wryly, because boy, doesn't he know what that's like.] At least the chaos is familiar enough. Though I've had more down time here than I ever had back home, excepting that time I died.

Fish, shellfish, certain kinds of ocean plants and algeas. Mostly fish. [Eating fish is something he had to come to terms with very young because, despite being able to make conversation with them, his Atlantean physique does require the nutrients in fish.

Shayera pinches the bridge of her nose, eyes clamped shut as she tries not to think about it too hard.) With every passing conversation I have with you guys, I start to think my universe is the least complicated.
