[Hello Thor, have a tiny bar tender here to look after you!]

[But he can’t stop himself from asking the obvious:] You work here?

[She wrinkles her nose as she tries to remember what exactly is ale and what is mead. It's a pub, they must have them right? She never realized how complicated this was. Then she grins.]
Don't look the type, do I?
no subject
No, I would think a single drink might knock you down; but I have regretted passing judgment on a woman before. [He has the scars to prove it. As always with him, even through something like alcohol, manners.] I am Thor. Anything you have will do. It’s simply the taste I am used to.

[This beer is called ale, so must be it right. She fills the glass and passes it towards him.]
Well, while I agree you never out to judge a girl by her looks, this time you're right. Not exactly a pub girl but I'm here to help out a friend.

It's hard to say what seems out of place on this giant turtle, and I'd have believed that you could hold your own. [He held up the half empty glass.] Help by serving drinks? That sounds like a friend indeed.

[She admits with a shrug and her eyes widen slightly at his ability to consume enough ale that would probably have her giggly and confused.]
He sort of ended up running this place and I just wanted to make things a little easier for him. He's done quite a lot for me.
no subject
So he’s yours then? [No shame at all in the honest question as he drinks the other half easily enough.]
no subject
Sorry?
no subject
I should be. Assuming is becoming a problem of mine tonight and making my first visit an ill fitting one. Shall we start over again?
[He smiles and holds out his hand.]
Good to meet you again, Clara. I am Thor of Asgard. [Royal pain in the ass.]
no subject
[She grins and shakes his hand, which completely engulfs hers.]
And don't worry, you're forgiven. Though, are you looking to forget something.
[She gestures to the many empty glasses.]

As much as I would like to think of my charm, I was not planning to use it instead of juulan. [Leaning back to get his hand into his jean's pocket, Thor pulls out a string of coins, the way the kedan carry their money around.]
And if it helps at all, I'll even wash them myself. [Grinning, he hands the string over for Clara to determine the amount of payment.]
no subject
[She grins at him and then reaches over to gently count the coins on the string and pulls off the proper amount. She gives him the last drink for free.]
No need to wash them, I've got it.
no subject
From which world do you hail? [His first guess is always Earth, but he’s been wrong on that before, so best to ask. Assuming been biting him in the butt a lot lately.]
no subject
[She grins and settles herself on the bar next to him. Since Spock left, she's eager for company that's easy and light.]
Earth. I've visited other worlds, but Earth is home.
no subject
I never would have guessed it of you. On Asgard, we have the Bifrost which we use to travel to different realms; including Earth. There are very few here that are familiar with it.
no subject
[she wrinkles her nose in curiosity.]
Bifrost?
no subject
The Bifrost is managed by Heimdall, Asgard’s gatekeeper. With it, he can send us through space to any of the nine realms. Any that need our help shall get it; not all the realms have warriors to fight their battles.

Tell me about him.

[she lifts the mug before taking a sip and making a little face. But she keeps drinking out of restlessness.]
He's weird. Really weird. Always talking about things no one understands. Always has energy for new people and new places. He makes everything seem amazing. And he helps people, he always helps everyone he can.
