"Okay," he agrees. "Okay." A slow exhalation of nerves. "This won't be so hard." He's been through worse. He had Agito with him through the worse times, but he's also grown stronger on his own.

"Let's go!"

She seems amused as she leads the kid.

"It will indeed not be so hard. We wouldn't have chosen you if we thought you could not do it."

[akito]

That gives him his own moment of pause. "Who is 'we'?"

And how do they know him well enough to make decisions like that? Is he under constant surveillance? It wouldn't surprise him, exactly, but it would be kind of annoying.

[wickerwood]

She motions around.

"The monks, of course. I was simply chosen to explain how the training works to the ones we ended chosing, but the decision was made by all of us"

[akito]

"How did you choose us?" He's met Korra before, and he knows Sarah of course, but the rest of them are strangers. He can't see any similarities between any of them.

[wickerwood]

Thankfully she's had to explain that already, so she has the right words. "Some energies or souls have an easier time finding things hat do not belong, uncovering the truth.

It was easy to choose the ones with that natural tendency."

Okay. That makes sense to him. Agito had always been better at battle tactics and planning things out ahead of time, while Akito had always been better at noticing small, vital details during a battle. In the same vein, Akito was always better at controlling their mindscape, so he supposes it's something like that.

"Will be going all together, or will we be alone?"

[wickerwood]

"You will all be together in the realm, but by the very nature of the training you'll have to go through it on your own if you truly want to learn."

[akito]

"If we notice someone in trouble, are we allowed to give moral support?" He doesn't want to hinder anyone's training, but at the same time doesn't want anyone to fail if he can do anything to help prevent it. "Or would that ruin their learning?"

[wickerwood]

"You can give each others clues, you can tell them what you feel that made you realize the energy didn't quite belong. You can help each other out that way.

But there really is no benefit to them if you end up fulfilling people's training for them."
