Victor nods. "Yeah, there's a a few people I know from back home. I guess I got lucky since one of my classmates is here and one of our teachers just recently arrived."

[imaginate]

'Good for you.' Kyle means it. At least the kid wasn't alone. 'Same Earth, or no?' Multiverses were messy no matter where you came from.

"Those two I just mentioned are," Victor gives a little shrug. "But there are others from different versions of my world around too. Thankfully no insane or evil versions yet though."

Kyle made a face. 'Hate it when that happens.'

[alpha_squad_leader]

"Yeah, it's always a pain. Overall, this place isn't too bad. I've certainly been to worse dimensions."

[imaginate]

'Me too. But those places, you could usually leave.'

[alpha_squad_leader]

"Yeah but not easily," Vic shrugs. "At least not in my experience. There's usually demons or crazy reality warpers to go through."

[imaginate]

'But at least they're there.' Kyle waves upwards. 'This is just... freaky.'

[alpha_squad_leader]

"Hey, at least it's not worse. Like I said when I first got here, I'm surprised nothing tried to kill me yet."

[imaginate]

'That's a plus, I guess.' Kyle shrugs. 'It seems quiet here despite the gang activity you warned me about.'

[alpha_squad_leader]

"Yep. There's not even any supervillains here," Vic replies with a quick smile.

[imaginate]

'Small mercies, huh. What do you do around here when not fighting crime?'

[alpha_squad_leader]

"There's not a lot when it comes to that from what I've been told. I've mostly been exploring and I got myself a job. You'll probably want to do that yourself. Other than that...I'm told there's not much else to do but party."

[imaginate]

A job, hm. Kyle needed one himself, if he was to get some money. 'Thanks for the heads up.'

[alpha_squad_leader]

"No problem. Glad I could help out," Victor replies. Stretching a little, the mutant looks off towards another part of the district. "I should get going. Don't want Santo thinking I've been kidnapped by pirates or something," he chuckles. "And I've got to make sure he's not embarrassing the hell out of me again."

Kyle drifts up into the air slightly and nods at Victor. 'Thanks again. See you around. Say hi to your friend for me.'

Victor watches Kyle drifting. "No problem. See you later, Green Lantern," he offers glancing over his shoulder before just jumping right off the rooftop and back down to street level.
