Situation: Tu Vishan begins to dive to the ocean floor and the city of Keeliai seems unbothered by the process. Bonfire funtimes are made available to all!

If this sort of thing was 'usual' I wish they would have warned us about it.

The kedan as a whole are not as forthcoming as I'd have liked, I agree. At least by the twenty-first century on Earth, most cities have some sort of brochure to go off of, even if it is designed for tourists.

I wouldn't have minded some restaurant recommendations too. [ She jokes, of course. ] They've been very welcoming, but I know they're keeping secrets.

[He grins in response to the joke.] I have travelled a great deal in my time, and not all the places I've visited were wholly friendly to people of my nationality, but population-wide conspiracies are something new. In a city this size? I would have thought it impossible.

It wouldn't be difficult, when confronted by strangers from other worlds.

You would think someone would speak, or not know to hold their tongue, even if it is only a child.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they're exactly what they claim to be.

[ She doubts it. She doesn't trust very easily, and although the kedan have been hospitable she trusts her instincts. ]
