Situation: Tu Vishan begins to dive to the ocean floor and the city of Keeliai seems unbothered by the process. Bonfire funtimes are made available to all!

I don't know, Arthur. [ her expression more uncertain than anything as she looked up at him, just wishing she had something more she could offer here than she did. ]

I guess together we just learn as we go.

[aloadeddie]

[He finds himself reaching - to do what? Maybe touch her hand, or brush a lock of hair away from her face - but he stops himself, shoves his hands in his pockets, and nods.] I think we should just keep our heads down, and our eyes open for now.

[ she just nods in agreement, letting a ghost of a smile appear on her lips. ] Whatever it takes...

[ and she means it. she'll play whatever roll she has to here, if there’s even a remote chance that it will get them back home. ]

Just be careful, okay? [ and it's said with a small shrug of her shoulders as she moves over towards the window, watching outside with interest. she knows he will, and that she it really didn't need to be said. but right in that moment, it seemed like something she should do (he needs to know someone is looking out for him after all) ]

[That gets a faint smile from him.] You think a little rumbling is going to throw me off?

Just let me know if you need anything, okay?

[ she just rolls her eyes in a faint amusement, shaking her head. she knows she doesn't even need to answer that (of course it wont) ]

You'll be the first person I call.

[aloadeddie]

I'd be offended otherwise. [His smile widens for a moment at that.]

[build]

[ again, she just rolled her eyes, letting her smile grow faintly as she nodded towards the door. ] Go see what you can find out now. I'll be back at my house battening down the hatches.

[aloadeddie]

Good idea. Make sure your breakables won't break. Stuff like that. [Hands still firmly in his pockets, he follows her out.] Time to play detective again.

[build]

[ she just nods in agreement, turning to look back at him, offering him a fond smile as she did. ] I’ll find you later tonight. Be careful. [ and yes, she rolls her eyes as she says that, smiling. Knowing again, it didn't need to be said, but she was going to say it anyway and he was just going to have to get use to it.

And with that, she was shrugging her shoulders with a sigh and slipping back off into the crowd, heading back for her place too later (hopefully) meet up with him again. ]
