Situation: Tu Vishan begins to dive to the ocean floor and the city of Keeliai seems unbothered by the process. Bonfire funtimes are made available to all!

[Favrielle blinks, because it doesn't occur to her that there are some who still may not know who she is after the masquerade.]

Oh, no, definitely not. I'm a clothier. In some places they might call me a seamstress or designer.

[She shrugs lightly.]

If ever anyone has a need of something custom made or in a non-local style, there's no one in this city better suited to handle it.

[Better than a psychologist, anyway, even if sewing has never been something CT herself has been particularly interested in.

She hadn't paid much attention to the formalities and mock court at the ball other than Mandorallen, so while Favrielle's face is familiar, she hadn't quite made the connection. Now she does, though, pursing her lips in thought.]

Did you make all those dresses for the dance?

[She doesn't correct CT that it had been more than a dance, but just nods in the affirmative.]

If I didn't make them myself, then I certainly designed them for others to make. So many garments would have been impossible to complete on my own, even with the sewing machines they have here.

...Yeah, I guess that'd be a lot.

[CT's dress had not been designed by Favrielle - she hadn't known there was anyone to ask, and probably wouldn't have ever approached her even if she had.

Still, she thinks back on the dresses she'd admired at the ball, how everyone had looked like princesses. She may not act like it very often, but she's still a girl at heart, and she gives Favrielle a small, genuine smile of admiration.]

They were really pretty. The dresses.

[Favrielle nods with approval, because clearly CT has good taste to admire her work. It's almost like a thank you, though she doesn't state the words outright.]

You'd be welcome to make an appointment with me for one of your own, if you like. There might be another occasion for it in the future, or something more casual and every-day if you prefer.

I don't know where I'd wear anything like that.

[And she likes her armor. :| CT glances down at her own outfit thoughtfully - it's simple, and one of only a few she owns. Honestly, it would be nice to have something new, if only because she's getting kind of sick of cycling through the same outfits over and over, but she's still reluctant to accept the offer so quickly.]

I probably couldn't pay much, either.

[certainly nothing near what those dresses must have been worth.]

Much can be accomplished with little.

[She shrugs.]

If you had need to wear something later I'm certain I could make something that would suit your preferences and purse.

[CT shrugs again, looking curiously at Favrielle's own outfit. It's not fancy like the ball dress, but it's certainly much nicer looking than her own, tailored to suit her.

She thinks, inadvertently, of Mandorallen, of how he'd looked at the ball and of his fancy dress and polished armor.

Maybe a new outfit or two isn't such a bad idea, after all.

CT bites her lip, lowering her gaze and shrugging again, but it's a little more open this time, a little more interested.]

I guess it wouldn't hurt to consider it, at least.

[And with that admission, Favrielle gives CT another glance, this time with an eye for her appearance. She takes in CT's hair style and color, her complexion, her body type, and the style she wears now, takes into account that she doesn't want something too fancy or too expensive. Already her mind races with ideas for things she hasn't yet had a chance to make for someone, things that would suit her well if she liked the style.]

Appointments cost nothing and I could sketch a few ideas for you.

[She can tell that Favrielle's looking her over, making mental measurements and calculations, and honestly, she's not too sure she likes the thought of it.

Still, she'd said yes, after all, and CT swallows back her faint unease at being studied, and nods.]

[Favrielle notices, a little late, and looks back up to CT with an attempt at a warmer smile.]

I was just thinking I have a couple bolts of fabric that would suit your coloring well. They're meant for more daily wear than special occasion, as well.

What kind?

[She's curious, despite not normally having too much of an interest in these things, and she smiles back in relief.]

Everyday stuff sounds good.

Soft linen if you like more breathable fabrics, though I also have a lovely silk that would do well for more of an evening look. It looks particularly nice in the glow of the shell at night.

[CT squints uncertainly, her lips tugging down in thought.]

Those sound...

[Expensive? High-maintenance? Easy to ruin?]

...nice.

[And they do, but, well. Maybe a little too nice for her purposes.]

What else?

Mm, I have a few more things that are good for everyday wear in earth tones. Durable stuff that sits nicely. It would compliment your coloring quite well, I think.

[It's not her favorite color or type but then again CT's taste are likely quite different from her own.]

[What are you talking about, mud brown is the best color.

She nods, looking a little more relieved at the word durable.]

That sounds good.

[Oh no, honey, she's going to have to do something if you think that's true.

Favrielle shifts in her seat and settles in.]

Come see me when you're able and we can speak more on it.

[uh. She pauses, as something occurs to her.]

Where?

I conduct my business out of my suite, WA-3A.

Water, 3A.

[She nods once, shortly, memorizing it.]

Okay.

[Favrielle offers her another smile and, finishing her things, eventually stands.]

I ought to be off, but thank you for your company this evening. It was a pleasure talking with you.
