Situation: Tu Vishan continues swimming along the ocean floor after his monumental dive, but it turns out there are a whole bunch of undead that want in on the party!

Santo, you might be able to fool other people but I know you still get tired. So just rest, alright?

[Santo just frowns, huffing and looking off to the side.]

There's not time to rest... And I can't let the others see me tired.

It is for you and anyone else that was just out there. And if you're that worried, we can find you a place to rest out of the way where no one will see you.

[He considers this for a moment, and even though he doesn't want to be, he does realize that he's tired. He hasn't slept in a while, and it was taking his toll.]

I suppose I could eat something at the very least... And you can show me somewhere we can stay... You know, since home is out of the question for the moment. [Yeah, it's implied that Vic isn't getting out of this.]

[Victor sighs.]

We? I'm not the one that needs to sleep. Though I suppose someone has to stick around to make sure you aren't trying to sneak back out.

I'm not sleeping. I just want to rest my eyes for a few minutes. [Stubborn as always.] Besides, you look more exhausted than I do.

Sleep or I'll find a way to knock you out. [He shakes his head.] I'm cold, not exhausted.

[Santo just rolls his eyes. He isn't going to say anything more about that. If they can find a place, and Victor is going to insist, then figured he'll at least try to rest his eyes for an hour or so.]

Either way, you look like hell.

Gee, thanks. That makes me feel so much better. [He's not really bothered by it, he's just keeping up the banter with Santo. Slowly, Victor gets up and waits for Santo to do the same.]

Hey, aren't you glad I'm being honest instead of trying to hook you up like this? [He manages a small smirk before slowly, and kind of staggeringly pulls himself back up to his feet, rubbing the back of his neck as if it was actually sore.] A lime green Vicsicle isn't sexy.

I'm glad whenever you're not trying to hook me up. [He frowns as he watches Santo stand and then starts to lead the way to another area.] Please, if Iceman can make the frozen look sexy, so can I.

[He follows after Victor, staying behind him so that the other can see him putting his hand on the all for support or the occasional stiffness in his step.] Iceman has ice in his name, though. If he can't pull off sexy in the cold, then he'd be screwed.

You, on the other hand... Your junk goes back up inside you when the AC is on too high.

[That comment just gets a withering look shot over Vic's shoulder at Santo.]

It does not. We do not need to be discussing my junk for any reason.

[Santo just pretends not to notice the look. He's obviously not tired enough to stop joking around.]

Yeah, but you get my point.

I'm not sure you get your point. [He's joking too.]

The point is that you plus cold equals suck. [He catches up to Victor and claps his hand onto his best friend's shoulder.] Are we there yet? Or is there anything to eat?

[alpha_squad_leader]

Cold sucks. [Victor stops when that hand claps onto his shoulder.] Just one more door and you can sleep. I'll bring you something to eat.

Pansy. [Santo replies immediately. Obviously joking, since they both know that he doesn't feel it... Not really.]

You're gonna take care of me now? [He raises an eyebrow, seeming more amused than anything.]

As soon as this zombie mess is over, I'm kicking your rocky ass. [Still joking...probably.]

I said I was bringing you something to eat, not feeding it to you.

And I'm sure I'll deserve it by then. For now, I have to take advantage of the situation. [Smirk.]

But you're telling me to sleep too. You're almost like my mom, dude.

[Victor just gives Santo another glare as he opens the door to the room he was leading the other mutant to.]

[Nope, still smirking. Santo walks into the room though, flopping down onto the bed with a hard thud and immediately getting himself comfortable. It wasn't much, but it still felt pretty good to him right now. He was tired enough not to care.]

They're letting all of us stay in places like this?

[alpha_squad_leader]

[Vic shrugs.]

Pretty sure they are. And even if they aren't we can just say we didn't know and you fell asleep after fighting all those zombies. It's not like it's more than a closet with a bed anyway.

What are they going to do, feed me to the zombies?

[The room really was small, and Santo feels a little bad not leaving any room for Victor to sit down, so he tries not to sprawl out so much on the bed... Though he's still taking up just about all of it.]

[Victor doesn't mind. He just wraps himself a little tighter in the blankets and hoodie as he leans against a wall.]

Don't know. I'd rather not have to find out.
