Situation: Tu Vishan continues swimming along the ocean floor after his monumental dive, but it turns out there are a whole bunch of undead that want in on the party!

See, I wouldn't let you if you tried, so that promise doesn't really mean anything.

Okay, now that we've established you can brutally axe - okay, knife murder me - wherever you're going sounds important so why don't you hop on [he rings up a small chariot] and I can get you there as soon as possible?

[sophos]

[She stares at it, a little skeptically. It sure would be convenient, but she purposely left with enough time to arrive on time. Not early.]

[And more pressingly:] How did you do that?

[imaginate]

Magic. [Said in a tone where nobody can really tell if he's joking or not.]

[sophos]

[She rolls her eyes.] Clearly.

[imaginate]

[Shrugs.] All aboard?

[sophos]

[She's still staring at it, with a little familiarity. She's built chariots, ok.]

How does it run?

[imaginate]

Like this. [The construct moves ahead seemingly of its own accord, circles in the sky a little (well he's a showoff) before stopping next to her.

She'll notice a faint green glow similar to the one covering her coming from a ring on his finger, which matches the insignia on his uniform.]

[sophos]

Glowing green magic. Gotcha.

[Sh still makes no movement or implication that she'll be getting in.]

[imaginate]

Hey, this was driven by a princess of Themyscira. [She does remind him of Diana, a little. Actually, a lot, and the sentence is out before he realises she might not even get the reference.]

[sophos]

[That's a bit of a ping.] Are you from the same world as Zatanna?

[It's a little sad that that's where her thoughts jumped, instead of something related to home, at this point.]

[imaginate]

You know Zee?

[It's not a yes, because she isn't, but the use of a nickname gives him away immediately.]

I didn't realize that was a nickname. But yeah, we met here.

[It's confirmation that he knows her, at least.]

[imaginate]

She's from a world really similar to mine - I've worked with her counterpart.

[They're not particularly close, but he counts her amongst his friends, his tone betrays that.]

She mentioned multiverses or parallel ones. So the Amazons exist for you, too?

[imaginate]

Yes, they do. I know their princess [the respect creeps into his voice: Wonder Woman was one of the first to befriend him and encourage him.] - Diana?

[sophos]

Not any princess I've heard of. The current queen is named Hylla. In my world, at any rate.

[imaginate]

Do you know a Queen Hippolyta? She's the reigning monarch right now, where I come from.

[If not current, then historically..?]

[sophos]

Well, yeah. Daughter of Ares. But she was queen thousands of years ago.

[imaginate]

Wow. [Not much else to say to that...] Glad to know they're still around somewhere. [Considering he knows his own Corps won't survive that long.]

[sophos]

What, are you from Ancient Greece? [She doesn't really think so, but it's a good a question as any to get a better idea what in the world he's talking about.]

[imaginate]

No, I'm from New York.

[sophos]

Me, too. And in my world, Queen Hippolyta has been dead for centuries.

[imaginate]

[He's... really sorry to hear that.] She was a great leader. [A beat, back to main subject.] So, a lift to wherever you're going? There's a lot of those things out there. [Addressing her not as a helpless damsel, but as an equal. He knows a warrior when he sees one, he's also learnt not to show off (much) in front of her.]

[She gestures at the ring on his finger.] Is that how you drive it?
