Characters: Annabeth; Zatanna, Vanessa, Ororo, Bryn, Soranik
Date: Today/Tomorrow idek??
Location: PLACES
Situation: Teaching Annabeth how to normal girl
Warnings/Rating: T overall, talk of sex
[When you have spent literally over half your life at a camp for training demigods how not to die in the mortal world, it's really not all that surprising that Annabeth is bad at normal nine times out of ten. There's just usually other things she'd rather be doing. Like poking at her laptop. Reading a book. Knife practice (not that she isn't already good, but it never hurts to spar, and she very much enjoys the 10:2 ratio of victory over Percy right now). Research of any or all kind, and she hasn't stopped drawing buildings even here.]
[So please ladies. Come to her suite, knock on her door, and kidnap her away for shenanigans and girl times, and don't take no for an answer!!]

One thing, though. A girl can't have a shopping day without a boyfriend to lug things around or a girlfriend to share it with. And, sure. Rogue's around, but... It's complicated. Like, well and over a year's worth of complicated, so Ororo is on the hunt for someone that she can hang out with that doesn't trigger all that old baggage. New baggage. That baggage.
Annabeth's her target. Young Allies brought them together and showed that the girl has a good head on a her shoulders, but it also gave insights to a rough life. Rough lives? They need breaks, so with Ororo on the hunt for an easy day, she's going to target someone else that deserves it.
Which may be why she knocks on her suite door. Hard. Then stands back, hands on hips, and waits for it to open. She looks 100% serious, like she may even be here on business, but that's because she's here for the most serious business of all: GIRL HANGOUT TIMES.]

[And when Annabeth does open the door, her book is still in hand, and Ororo is standing there looking kind of intense. She's instantly a little on guard, wishing her knife was latched at her hip, but alas, it's resting on one of the tables.]
What's going on? [Definitely looking behind the other woman, to see if something's wrong.]

[Her tone is grave, but her next statement might not ring the same warning bells off.]
You won't need the book. And make sure you're in good walking shoes. This'll take hours at least.
no subject
What will take hours? [The extra time to analyze leads her to believe it's not nearly as dire as originally suspected. Especially when nothing comes barreling after either of them.]
no subject
Shopping. Deals don't find themselves and I'm not passing up the good mood to miss out.
no subject
Shopping. [She repeats it, also flatly.] Shopping for what?

[Ororo is so calling her out on that.]
And you so didn't start talking bookworm on me. I said the clerk has to be hot.

Attractiveness is objective.

Looking for a new edition to the ol' boyfriend? [That might be her just... yeah. It's kind of a smile, kind of a questioning.] Maybe something with a newer print run?

[Okay, now it's teasing.]

[Seriously. See this eyebrow? It's raised at you for taking that at face value.]
no subject
[Yep. Totally went over her head. It's not like she hasn't been teased before, but it's usually a lot more obvious and only by people not afraid of getting their heads ripped off.]
[She crosses her arms a little grumpily.] Of course I have. [Not often.]

[Ororo is amused by this turn of events. Annabeth is such a blank slate for the whole friendship thing that it's almost amusing in and of itself.]
You have got to get yourself some experience with the friends deal. Lucky for you, I'm around.
no subject
[Just. You know. Not so many that are actually on the turtle. And they usually grow around life threatening adventures and training. That she can do.]

You can't want to sit in all the time and just read, right?
no subject
[Wait that's probably not entirely what she meant??] I mean, I go to the movies sometimes, I guess. There's just usually a lot of stuff going on.
