Characters: Open to all!
Date: June 23rd
Location: Wood sector, open market.
Situation: A very late "Memorial Day" barbecue, bring your own beef!
Warnings/Rating: N/A. C'mon, it's a barbecue.
[There's two grills, one for meat, one for veggies. (We don't want our vegetarians getting cross-contamination, now do we?) They're pretty basic, just some wood-burning open barrels with grills over top. Feel free to come on by, bring some food to share around, and hang out with your friends. Or glare across the way at your enemies! We're all good here.]

People were milling about cooking pits and bonfires, talking, laughing, playing... The scenery reminded him of home. The good times, at least. He couldn't help but smiles a little.
lemme know if this is okay
mind-read away!
Armin looks around, spooked as he hears someone say something he has just thought, nearly simultaneously. It must be a coincidence, but the odds are still so slim. His eyes land on the little dark haired girl, who immediately strikes him as a bit... Odd. Why? He can't put his finger on it.
"Were you the one that just said that?"

[As did the duel-wielding grills. Although veggies alone wouldn't cut it; grabbing one of the cooking tools to the side, she pushed a few of the skewers to one side. Just enough room for a few of her soy-based hot dogs to cook, with the necessary condiments (ketchup and pickled relish) waiting nearby for when they were fully ready.]

Well! This certainly is an interesting custom, to cook outside when one is at home.

[Stiles is presiding over the grill, because how hard could it be? He's watched his dad do it dozens of times. He puts his tongs down and jogs over to Rapunzel, a grin on his face too.]
Welcome to Manly Cooking. Where I will cook things for you in a manly way.

And how exactly does the manly way of cooking vary from the usual way of cooking?

Oh, man. He wishes that Mrs. Chu was here. All he knows how to do with food is eat it. He tentatively puts the porkish meat on the grill and stares at it.
And...there goes that voice in his head again! Man, it's driving him nuts. Look! he hears it say.
Jackie calmly accepts that he is both kinda dead and also going crazy.]

Compliments to whoever put this all together. Nothing hits the spot like cheesy meaty goodness.
