Situation: Tu Vishan experiences a boost in health and thanks each citizen with a calming mood and tropical waters.

Everyone wakes on the 23rd with a feeling of peace upon their mind. It's hardly intrusive – reminiscent more of the comfort that comes when one curls up with a favourite blanket fresh out of the dryer. It seems that the actions of the Foreigners -- taken to aid during this time of crisis -- have had an effect and Tu Vishan is offering this in thanks... along with a surge of life and vitality to both the turtle and its citizens.

[There was just something about the plains that drew Mark to it. His best guess was the area vaguely reminded him of Africa, and by default, Eve. Without a mission to keep his mind from wandering, he found his thoughts going back to his girlfriend again and again, and wondering how badly he's going to be killed by her when he finally gets home.

Thanks to the calming effect of the turtle, however, that last part isn't entering his mind today, and he's able to just focus on watching all of the plants and animals from the air, and thinking about how much she'd love to see them all. If the cell phone still had a charge, he'd be taking pictures to show her.

...If only he could draw.

And speaking of drawing, Mark spots Superman attempting to sketch the peexhau from a distance. After checking that he was, in fact, wearing his Invincible costume (he really has to figure out a better process than groping at his face and hoping there's a mask there), he tries to land beside him as quietly as he can so as to not disturb the animal he was drawing.] Hey.

[Kal had heard him arrive, it's hard not to hear things like that in the almost silence of the wilderness. But it would be rude not to give people the chance to say hi or decide to leave so he's gotten used to pretending people aren't there.]

Invincible, hey. [He smiles up at him once he decides to approach.] How are you? Did your bones heal alright?

[shorttempered]

[reaches up to touch a still healing bruise on his arm.] Yeah, bones are finally fine, just have some bruises left now.

I decided to lay low once I got back to the turtle so I don't think anyone noticed... all I did was have flashbacks to graduation, and I didn't want to repeat it. So long as I wear long sleeves I don't think anyone can notice now, so that shouldn't be a problem.

[andaway]

[That startles a laugh out of Clark, raising an eyebrow because Invincible is the first person he's ever seen take such a long fall with such a good humor.]

I'm glad to hear that. You had superhealing, didn't you?

[shorttempered]

[You don't understand, Clark, random crap like this is a common occurrence.]

I think the preferred term is "accelerated." They take time to heal, but not as slowly as humans. [With that he sits in the air by Clark, removes one of his yellow gloves and rolls up his sleeve, revealing his ugly purple bruises from the impact.]

If I had superhealing I think I'd be fine by now.

[andaway]

[He shows him his still-casted arm, wiggling his fingers] Don't be so sure. Superhealing doesn't mean you can shrug off any injuries, it just means I will be wearing this for a week or two instead of months.

[shorttempered]

Fair enough. [Sits next to him.] How are you holding up?

And how are you hiding that as... [Trails off as he doesn't actually know his alter ego. And his tone isn't implying he wants to know it, either.]
