Obi-Wan is still somewhat adjusting to things here on Keeliai. So the fact that the giant turtle makes landfall on a continent is surprising and piques his curiosity.

He can be found either wandering around the streets of Keeliai or Tavimbi. Willing to talk to just about anybody. Especially the Kedan and the Tavimbi natives.

Upon sensing a power that is not unlike the Force within Tavimbi, which he comes to know as the Xunutane, he will make checking that out his highest priority.

In response, Aya nodded. Her expression betraying nothing, even as she thought back to past encounters with these individuals.

"It is not the first instance such a thing has happened. In fact, there have been occasions in which two different individuals from two separate universes bearing the same name and life were known to coexist here."

"... This place never ceases to amaze."

It just kept getting weirder all the time despite Obi-Wan's efforts to learn as much as he could.

"So in theory, a friend of mine could arrive from a different universe and not be the same person I know."

There was a slight delay in her response. An aversion of the eyes.

"It...has happened to me. Twice."

"Oh... I'm sorry."

It didn't take use of the Force to see how Aya felt.

"Are you here alone?"

[looksfine]

"No."

That response came far more quickly, although it required a bit of elaboration.

"I am the only individual originating from my universe...that I have ever been made aware of. But I am not alone. I have made many friends here since."

There was a small smile at that reply.

"I'm glad to hear it. How long has it been?"

He's heard of some being here for years like Zatanna. He can only imagine what it must be like to see people coming and going. Though he knows it's likely he will come to experience that in due time himself.

"1,201 days. Including the duration of time that was spent in the realm of Dreaming after our defeat of Malicant."

...you know, give or take.

"I see. You have been here a long time."

This said as he feels the elevator slowing to a stop. The Jedi Master waiting for Aya to exit first since she is the one leading the way.

"Longer than some. Not as long as others."

Once the little bell rang, signaling they had arrived at their intended floor, and the door opened, Aya once more stepped forward to lead. Down one hallway, turning right. A few doors down, and she held up her palm by the scanner next to the entrance. It registered her unique signature. The door opened.

"I must request at this time that you do not touch anything."

Stepping into the room after her, Obi-Wan respectfully kept his distance from anything that was in it. His hands folding together and disappearing within the long sleeves of his cloak.

"Of course."

He would merely stand somewhere off to the side and out of the way unless she wished otherwise.

The room was...approximately the size of a walk-in closet, albeit a large walk-in closet. The ceiling spanned up eight feet, and it was both long and wide enough for the two of them to enter and move about comfortably in spite of both the table and console.

Flat and hard, the former sat in the middle of the room. There were a few straps dangling off either side. Mostly unused. The console, meanwhile, was nearly as large as the wall it rested against, with a green screen that continued to read line after line of a unique code. Aya's code.

She paid neither of these any heed, however, instead walking all the way to the back of the room, where there was a large cabinet. Placing her hand over the handle, she pulled once, revealing a range of white-colored metalic...objects. Each of varying sizes and shapes. A quick scan proved that two medium sized pieces and a smaller one were all she would need, using her Green Lantern energy to levitate herself high enough to reach them.

"Does this quality meet your standards?" She asked him as she floated back over to the table, placing the three items on its surface. They all appeared to be similar in composition to Aya's metal components, only painted black rather than white.

Watching Aya in quiet silence and keeping his hands to himself as asked, Obi-Wan waited. When she placed the objects in front of him on the table, he lifted one hand. One of the pieces then quickly shot to his opened palm to catch it. He then looked it over and inspected the black metal.

"Yes, I believe this will do."

It looked sleek and durable enough to be a suitable casing for a Lightsaber. Satisfied, he placed the piece of metal back down on the table.

"This is quite the collection you have here," he said in reference to all of the technology and components she kept in this small room.

"I have experienced many circumstances in which my physical form has amassed sufficient damage. Replacement parts are necessary."

Surprise when Obi-Wan called the piece to him, though only from the unexpectedness of the moment. His was not the first ability to be demonstrated in front of her, even though he had given no prior indication that he could perform such a deed.

"Telekenesis?"

Well that certainly makes sense, and Obi-Wan nods his head slowly. She's certainly well prepared, he'd give her that. It's not as if she can heal like a biological creature after all. Parts had to be replaced.

"Yes, by using the Force."

And he already knows that she's going to ask about that, so he launches into a brief explanation.

"It's an energy field that is created by and is a part of all living things. I can use its power in a variety of ways."

Well, that saved her one question. Leaving her free to ask others.

"Such as how?"

"I was able to sense you. With a fully mechanical droid I'm unable to since they aren't really alive."

That's what had really started the conversation, his ability to sense something from her.

Huh. Color her green Impressed.

"Then you knew I was alive from the very beginning."

[hadthehighground]

"I did, yes. Because every living thing is connected to the Force. In a similar way, I'm able to sense the Xunutane and these crystals as well. They exude a power not dissimilar to the Force."

This said as he placed his crystal on the table.

If that were true...

"Do you sense a similar power in me as well? One beyond the expected life force of an organic being."

[hadthehighground]

"Yes. At first I thought you might have a strong connection to the Force, but it seems to be something else. Much like with the Xunutane."

He looked expectant, as if he was hoping she might explain.

[looksfine]

There were several aspects of the Green Lantern lore that were deemed confidential; long after Kyle Rayner had left, Aya still respect the orders he had given her as her superior. Besides...she liked and trusted him. Far more than any Guardian.

(Except maybe Ganthet. Maybe.)

But that still left things she could divulge. Personal aspects that did not endanger her or her colleagues in any fashion.

"What you sense is the Green Energy that has given be life." In demonstration, she held up a hand, and allowed the light to emerge from it. "Most Lanterns are recruited and given a ring that contains this power. I was born from it, and as such, it is as much a part of me as my soul."

At her explanation and the demonstration of green light, Obi-Wan's brows rose curiously. He can't recall ever encountering anything quite like that before.

"Green Energy? What does it come from? And what do you mean by Lantern?"

There's still much he has to learn about this place and the others that are trapped here with him. But Obi-Wan has always been the studious sort and is quite interested in learning everything that he can.

"That much, unfortunately, I can not disclose without violating orders."

With regards to the origins of Green Energy, at least.

"What I can tell you is that it is a source of power that was granted to those deemed worthy by the Guardians of Oa. Those who bear the title of Green Lantern are part of a great, intergalactic force that serves to protect those who cannot properly protect themselves."

"I understand."

And he really does. Some things are just not meant to be shared with others. Obi-Wan knows that sort of position all too well. But what she does tell him continues to pique his curiosity.

"So they are peacekeepers then. The Jedi are not all that different."

[looksfine]

"What can you tell me about these...Jedi?"

If they were as similar as preliminary evidence suggested, then there were, perhaps, aspects that he was not at liberty to disclose, either. Still...anything he could offer on them would be most appreciated.
