Situation: The fires are put out and repairs around the city have begun. With life preserved, eyes turn now to what exactly crashed down into the ocean.

The majority of fires are reported as under control and repair crews start forming up to bring Keeliai back to her pre-scorched splendour. This is all well and good, but there remains a cluster of debris that crashed into the ocean drawing the attention of salvagers and Foreigners alike. Boats and teams form up and head up to scour the ocean, where the cluster rests upon an expansive and ancient coral formation and can be reached within ten metres of the surface.

No idea. It's completely new to me, which is an added pleasure. [Even as appreciative as he is, neither tone nor smile can capture just how much Dorian values anything new, particularly of music. He offers the music box to Traci to look at, clearly not concerned with the fact that they are literally meeting for the first time.] I suppose people must have lived up wherever those things came from.

Looks like the little guy's giving you a lot of attitude, huh Korra? [Shayla can't be seen at ground level because she's taken it upon herself to perch on a high spot and watch the ensuing chaos with mild amusement.

[Mera, unsurprisingly enough, came down to see the satellite with Arthur. She was exploring the other side but found nothing of real interest. To her, at least. Arthur probably knows more about it. He's used to surface technology whereas she's only used to Atlantean tech. And the things they come up with in Xebel but this is not on the same level as that. She swims around to meet Arthur, floating up to his side]

[She was exploring the reef too, seeing what damage was done and if there was any way to fix it. She's a little annoyed, actually. Why do surface dwellers always have to find ways to ruin the ocean? Even here, god. But then she spots Nita and the eel and kind of....forgets about that. Nita water you doing]

Are you having an argument with an eel? [Though really she's not surprised. Arthur drags her to aquariums so he can check on the fish. That's much weirder than this]

[Carol's been lifting rubble, saving people from buildings and doing general superhero stuff since the crash. While in civvies because really her costume means nothing here. She approaches Bucky when she sees him and kneels down a bit to be closer to his level]

I know some tech people who can take a look at your stuff and make sure it's not dangerous. I mean, what if it goes off and you shoot through someone's wall?

I live in Water Sector. I wouldn't mind living in the ocean, but I'd get left behind, and when we're in the deep sea, it's pretty boring out there.

[Nita knows surface dwellers don't really understand the vast scale of the ocean, and she doesn't hold it against them.]

[Nita is really, really not used to not getting what she wants, so fish more or less ignoring her is a source of irritation every time it happens.]

[Korra gulps some air and looks at Nita, embarrassed at the mention of stuff firing off.] You heard about that?

I'm in the Metal Sector, but the Water was pretty nice the first time I went there. [Mainly because she met Michelangelo, but anywaaay. She turns her head up at the vast underbelly of the turtle.] How fast does Tu Vishan go anyway?

Shayla! You're certainly looking a lot better. [Because that first day is such an "ugh" 24 hours.]

Yeah, I think I should try having someone else test those out. [If that thing had been pointing the opposite way; well best not to think about that.]

Actually I was coming to see if your suite made it through yesterday and this sort of happened. [A pile of deadly-things and a pile of things that were more aesthetic.]

I couldn't open any of those black cylinders, so I sold them to some kedan who was collecting them. [Making some spending money was always a plus.]

[ Long hours are commonplace and with so much to do, it only seems natural to remain for as long as he's got energy for even after nightfall. Besides, it's not far from where he lives. He might as well do some good on the way home. ]

[Temeraire is drawn to shiny metal things like a moth to a flame, and with the damage in Fire Sector more or less contained for the time being, he has ventured out into the street at last.

At present he is crouched over a particularly large and complicated piece of machinery--likely malfunctioning, given the sheer amount of sparks emitting from it--and appearing to be in the middle of deciding whether or not he should attempt to poke it with a claw. He will, however, willingly abandon it for something equally interesting, or if someone requires help shifting rubble out of the way to reach another bit of scrap.]

Well, I've certainly haven't heard of an alien with a music box, so it's possible. [Good thing she's not the type to run off with goods that aren't claimed by others first.] You're a big fan of music?

Yes, though not machines. I was hoping I could find something worth trading with the kedan for some food. [She had enough for now, but if she ever wants to practice magic, she's going to need more supplement than the meager supply they've provided--- and a job.]

That's a big haul though. What are you planning on doing with them?

[Smiles at that. It's nice to see everyone stepping up.] Sure. I know from experience that crews like this sometimes forget to stop and drink some water, so it will be appreciated.

I-uh, I haven't really thought about it. But most of the kedan from the Metal are interested in these things, so maybe you could trade them for food? I know there some collecting those black cylinder thingies. I gave up trying to open them and sold them for a few juulan.

[Not a lot, but it was something.] But if you're low on food, I have some extra sea prune stew sitting in my freezer. It's a bit of an acquired taste and it's pretty nutritious. [There's a reason there's an abundance of sea prunes during the rationing.]

[The techie salvage scattered all over Keeliai has pretty much made Tim's day. Days. It's like Christmas for a geek anyway, and now that the fires and damage are under control, he's starting to pick through the tech to see if there's anything he can use.
