[CLOSED] to Peter Parker
Miles hadn't really noticed when that other Peter disappeared off the turtle, but now that he's seen it happen, he wants to spend as much time with this Peter as he can, before one of them is gone too.]
Re: [CLOSED] to Peter Parker
[He doesn't actually mean any of the things he's shouting back over his shoulder toward Miles of course, he's just enjoying the company. And the web swinging. And the fact he's been in the leading the younger Spider-Man for the past six blocks, swinging around the Metal sector and generally trying to enjoy himself in the process.
It was easily his favorite thing about being Spider-Man. Swinging across the Manhattan skyline had been like a roller coaster ride he could control. If it ever started to get too routine, he could change it up a bit. Even experiment a little, take a little longer than usual to fire off the next web line or just try to swing a little faster than usual. And while his options were a little more limited here in Turtle-tropolis, he was still capable of having a little fun. Especially in the Metal district.
And definitely with another webswinger. Something he'd never really gotten the chance to do with the last Spider-Man who was here, so he was definitely going to do what he could to make sure he at least got to know Miles better than he did Other!Peter...]

Beaky who? Man, make sense!
[OPEN] as Miles
Re: [OPEN] as Miles
When she spots Miles, her head tilts slightly before she speaks in her quiet way.]
We spoke the other day.
no subject
Yeah, we did. Victoria, right? It's Miles.

[Confirming that she's Victoria. She's still a slight distance away and from the way she's standing, she might just stay there. There's a wariness to her behavior, leaning away from people if they get too close. She's not in the mood to deal with them, obviously.]
What are you doing?
no subject
I'm trying to find a job. I haven't had much luck so far, though.

H-hey! Who's there?
no subject
Just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Who's asking?

[Wow, banter still sucks.] I didn't know anyone else was patrolling around here. I've never seen you around before.
[Though, to be fair, this IS his first time patrolling this part of Keeliai.]

[He gives BB a surveying look.]
So what universe are you from? One with the Avengers, or those Justice League people, or some other one? 'Cause I've sure never heard of you.

But she still needs something to do at night, and sometimes she likes to go out and look at the fire fountains too. They glow so prettily in the night, and they remind her of the Firefalls of Krypton.
She hears him first, just the quietest movement of feet and hands. It's enough for her, and though she suspects it's just another vigilante sneaking around it could always be something worse. She takes to the sky and follows her ears until she finds him. ]

[He'll still wait to see how long it will take... the - third? Spider-Man to notice him. He kind of didn't pester the second one, but still.]
no subject
Oh. Hey.
no subject
[He skips... a few steps in the conclusions process (the spidermen haven't been out during the lack of powers -> they were metahuman -> things should be a little easier (for him) now that the metas were back around -> or will they?) and blurts out the next one with no - small talk.]
Are your powers reasonably returned? Or will you need a minder out here?
[Minder. Babysitter. Somebody to make sure that the older boy wouldn't hurt himself or somebody that doesn't need to get hurt in the process.]

hopefully you don't mind late...
Still though, the focus on just tinkering around and building a few small things here and there have left him a bit restless, which leads him to pull out his helmet and shrinking gas and go for a little outing on the back of one of the turtle's resident bugs.
He's overdue for an exploration of the turtle anyway.
Most of what he sees is normal. The landscaping in the Wood Sector, the calm and restful bodies of water in the Water Sector....he's in the Fire Sector when he catches sight of the familiar web pattern and zooms in for a closer look.]
--Spider-Man?
[Please don't smack the tiny man wearing a helmet about a foot from your face, Miles.]
late is fine!
Hello? Somebody call for Spider-Man?
no subject
Uh yeah, that was me.
[He sounds a little sheepish - he doesn't exactly know if this is even the Spider-Man he knows, what with all the sort-of-but-not-really familiar faces he's met around here so far.]
Nice suit. It's a little less red and blue than before. [If it was even red and blue before.] But still nice.
