You're going to hear me roar
Characters: Wan and OTA for anyone wanting to help him with his attempt to possess Asti
Date: between 10/15 and 10/24
Location: Zuko's
Situation: lots of talking and planning and trying to coordinate things in secret
Warnings/Rating: none
10/16 & 10-17 For those who've been contacted directly via Inboxes/Turtles
Wan had sent the messages from his console after spending a few hours mediating under his lantern. It was all the time he was going to spare for that consideration while he still felt that Zuko needed him there. Not all the time, since he was getting better and obviously so, but enough that he wanted to stay with him in the building that had been secured from further intrusions by violent kedan.
He wasn't going to wait for messages back, just hope that the people he contacted would come.
[[As Wan is staying with Zuko still, he's asked that meetings happen there. If you don't want Zuko to tag in occasionally, let us know.]]
For those who've heard about this indirectly and want in
Wan had gotten the word out mostly through Dante and Michelangelo, and had high hopes that whomever they contacted would get in touch with him. Since they knew so many more people than he did. He was nervous, but he'd given both firm answers about where he could be found. And maybe, just maybe, they could get organized enough to pull this off. Without Wan's soul being ripped apart or swallowed by the vastness of Asti's own personality and lifeforce.

Just as he had suggested after their sparring, the waterbender arrived at the fire sector home, taking in a deep breath before knocking on the door to his suite and mentally bracing herself for whatever lay on the other side. She had yet to face them together since she had had her untimely interruption.
But this was business. And everything in her being meant business when it came to helping the people of this world and ending the darkness that was trying to consume it...personal battles aside.

"Ah... hello," he greeted her awkwardly. "I thought you and Zuko were out sparring."
no subject
"Ah, we were, but now I'm here to talk to you," she explained, looking a little lost as she tried to find her footing. Her eyes shifted to the side, as if she couldn't meet his gaze directly just yet, and she sighed. "He told me you were planning something," she added quietly. "And...I want to help."
no subject
The word hung in the air for a few moments before Wan shifted to the side and swept his arm up to invite her in, "Sure. We're still trying to get information right now, but we sort of have a plan."

"Okay, we seriously need to talk about what the kids are learning from the two of you." Dante spoke up to the first person he saw. "But you probably have more important things to say."
no subject
He settled himself down on the floor and indicated Dante could take a seat wherever. The bedroom was only accessible via the window now because of how they'd boarded up the downstairs entrance in the wake of the kedan's attack on Zuko. It was as safe as any place could be at the moment.
"You know where the Great Darkness claims to be, don't you?"
no subject
"How could I not? Considering it was plastered all over the network." Dante had found out a few days before the masses thanks to Nillin, but he had to appreciate that someone had the guts to get it out in the open instead of doing this cloak and dagger nonsense.

"Thank you for coming," he started, taking a deep breath as he settled himself cross-legged on Zuko's bed. "I have a request to ask of you. I need some information. About you."
no subject
She took a deep breath, preparing herself for the worst, while managing to appear perfectly calm on the outside. "What do you want to know?"

She wasn't entirely certain what this was all about, but she could guess. Nothing good. To start. And that was a best-case scenario.
After leaving a note behind for Jack--habit, these days, so that he wouldn't worry over her unexpected disappearance, should this end up monopolizing her time--Zatanna headed for Zuko's suite. She had to ask around before figure out which one was his, but once she did...she stood up straight and quietly knocked on the door.
"Wan? It's me."

Actually, you know what? Never mind.
"Be up in a second."
He was just so lucky she could fly; exhausted as she was from keeping the Welcome Center guarded, she had enough energy to levitate herself up and to the window, where she graciously knocked before entering.
"Aside from the obvious, any particular reason for the added security?"
no subject
"Thanks for coming," Wan continued, moving to get some tea for her and at least attempt to be a gracious host. "I wanted to ask you if you had any way of giving your power to others. To combine your energy with someone."
After a pause, "With me. I'm going to need as much power as I can get."

Eventually there's a tentative knock at the door.
no subject
"Hey, you're here to talk to Wan, right?"
There have been a lot of visitors for that lately, after all.

Aang looks up at the sound of Zuko's voice from above, then back at the door, then back up again. "Uh huh. Should I just come up?"

As she was used to doing, Korra tapped on the glass of the window with the green ring on her finger. Easy to do from being on her haunches on a nearby branch.

"Thank you for coming," he said with sad smile and his arms open, inviting an immediate hug.
no subject
"Is anything wrong?" The way things were going with her, the main reason anyone got a hold of her was because something bad was going down.
no subject
"Have you heard where the Great Darkeness is?"
