Obi-Wan is still somewhat adjusting to things here on Keeliai. So the fact that the giant turtle makes landfall on a continent is surprising and piques his curiosity.

He can be found either wandering around the streets of Keeliai or Tavimbi. Willing to talk to just about anybody. Especially the Kedan and the Tavimbi natives.

Upon sensing a power that is not unlike the Force within Tavimbi, which he comes to know as the Xunutane, he will make checking that out his highest priority.

A wise response. One to which she immediately shook her head. A gesture that was as smooth and effortless as if she possessed no metallic joints at all.

"It was a human whom I first heard when I came online." Her voice spoke of warmth. Love. Not unlike that of a child speaking about her fatherly figure. "That same human named me and taught me a great deal about many things. That includes how one should never be judged by the deeds of another if they are in no way responsible for events occurred."

He can hear the fondness in her voice. So she has emotions. Also very interesting and quite unusual for a mechanical being.

"Then you were taught well."

It's then that the vendor returned with Aya's item. He looked at it for a moment and would wait for Aya to finish her transaction.

"Are you very familiar with the technology here?"

It was a small part, for having caused so much trouble. No larger than the palm of her hand, yet capable of twisting and turning in multiple directions. Jointed. When it shifted a certain way, it's outer shell pulled back to reveal the shimmering circuitry within.

Satisfied that it was both legitimate and in the required condition, Aya nodded her approval before handing over a small pouch of juulan.

"I am familiar with most technology anywhere." Not a brag. Merely a statement. "And any I am not, it would not be difficult for me to learn."

"How about this?"

Obi-Wan pulls a Lightsaber from his belt and holds it out in the palm of his hand.

"It's a weapon. I'm looking for parts to build another one."

She took a look, almost immediately recognizing that there was not only a lack of blade...but the top of the hilt showed no signs of damage. Meaning the absence was a deliberate design choice.

"Do I have your permission to enact a basic scan of its components?"

"Of course."

Better that than taking it apart. Normally Obi-Wan would know exactly what he needed and where to find them. But things were different in this place. He didn't know what the equivalent parts would be in this world, if there was any.

With his permission, Aya's eyes began to glow a soft blue as she focused her scanners on the object. It didn't even require physical contact; her internal sensors began reading line after line of information transposed into data she could comprehend. Revert back to an immediate solution.

However, halfway through the process, both her brows rose in surprise.

"Its power source appears to be...internal. And self-recharging."

Not unlike her own, although she could immediately tell it was not an energy found anywhere on the Lantern Spectrum.

"That would be the kyber crystal," Obi-Wan explains. He had wondered if she would notice that. "Its a naturally occuring crystal in my galaxy that's highly attuned to the Force."

He then pulls another crystal from a pocket on his belt. "I have this for the lightsaber I wish to build. It's similar to the Xunutane in Hatal. I'm hopeful that it will work just as well as a kyber crystal."

In other words this is an experiment.

He was in luck; she was all about experiments.

"It will require an alloy capable of withstanding the concentrated energies at its base, for one." Starting with the obvious. "One that is resistant to corrosion, while simultaneously capable of being molded in such a manner that your crystal's energies can still be accessed with relative ease. Otherwise, it would make for a poor weapon."

She thought for a moment, then glanced down at her own physical form. Then back up at Obi-Wan with a knowing grin.

"I have an idea."

Nodding in agreement with what she was saying, Obi-Wan then paused as she looked at herself and announced an idea. His brows rose slightly.

"Do tell."

Surely she wasn't thinking of using pieces of... herself?

Of course not.

...well, not specifically.

"I have amassed a small collection of spare parts with which to do emergency replacements in the event of severe external damage. They are comprised of a special silicon nitride that has been synthesized using the conversion of monomers into a colloidal solution for an integrated network of polymers. It has been proven to withstand the force exerted by Green Lantern energy. As such, I am confident it will work equally well for you."

(In short, battle-tested, Aya-approved.)

"They are currently stored in my repair room at Stark Industries."

Oh... Well then. That's certainly rather convenient. That's not something he could really argue with at all. Thus Obi-Wan gestures towards the street with one arm, while returning the Lightsaber to his belt.

"Then by all means, lead the way."

Obi-Wan had a good feeling that he and Aya would get along quite well.

At the moment, Aya had no reason to suspect otherwise.

"Certainly. It is not far by flight, though I suspect you would prefer to take the land route?"

"Yes... Yes I would."

Sorry Aya but even though he's a decent pilot, Obi-Wan would prefer not to fly if he doesn't have to. Flying is not one of his favorite things.

She was...mostly ambivalent on the subject.

Flying was certainly easier when it came to traveling long-distance. It allowed one to bypass most physical obstacles, and offered a speed unhindered by the forces of gravity. On the other hand, as she walked along, her movements were fluid and natural. Not a single twitch or hint of stiffness. If she hadn't already confessed to being a robot, one might have easily suspected otherwise from a distance.

"This way, Obi-Wan Kenobi."

Continuing her habit of referring to individuals by their full name (unless instructed otherwise), she began leading him through the rapidly thickening crowd, heading in the direction of the Stark Industries tower.

Oh sure it was convenient. That's why he still bothered to fly at all. It would be hard to get around otherwise where he's from. That matter aside, Obi-Wan followed Aya, seemingly not minding the usage of his full name. Droids would be droids after all.

Unless Aya decided to strike conversation, Obi-Wan was largely quiet as they walked, seemingly thinking to himself.

Aya did not mind the silence. At the moment, she was the one in possession of something that Obi-Wan wanted. And the knowledge of where to go. There were no immediate questions she needed to ask before arriving at their destination.

In fact, as they walked through the doors of the large building some time later, she did not even need to ask where to go. Merely walked straight to the elevator on the far right, pressing the button to signal the desire to go up.

As they arrived in the building, Obi-Wan's attention seemed to lift from his thoughts to look around as they went. Following Aya into the elevator he folded his hands and waited.

"This area certainly seems more advanced than most others in Keeliai."

Many of the sectors were somewhat primitive, on his scales at least.

"Stark Industries was not originally run by the local kedan population. It was first established by a man named Tony Stark--albeit not the Tony Stark who currently resides within the city--and specializes in technological advancements."

This draws a bit of a confused stare.

"You mean to tell me that there's been two of the same person here?"

Or maybe he's wrong and it was just a name coincidence? He highly doubts that though.

[looksfine]

In response, Aya nodded. Her expression betraying nothing, even as she thought back to past encounters with these individuals.

"It is not the first instance such a thing has happened. In fact, there have been occasions in which two different individuals from two separate universes bearing the same name and life were known to coexist here."

"... This place never ceases to amaze."

It just kept getting weirder all the time despite Obi-Wan's efforts to learn as much as he could.

"So in theory, a friend of mine could arrive from a different universe and not be the same person I know."

There was a slight delay in her response. An aversion of the eyes.

"It...has happened to me. Twice."

"Oh... I'm sorry."

It didn't take use of the Force to see how Aya felt.

"Are you here alone?"

[looksfine]

"No."

That response came far more quickly, although it required a bit of elaboration.

"I am the only individual originating from my universe...that I have ever been made aware of. But I am not alone. I have made many friends here since."
