The early morning hours of May 21st are broken by the sound of a low lying explosion and a veritable rain of fiery bits and bobs such as molten hot metal and space debris. Those out and about in the very early morning (three hours before dawn) see a meteoric shape streaking overhead and leaving a debris trail. Those interested in following it may find themselves distracted by the debris raining down across Tu Vishan, starting fires and damaging buildings turtlewide. Tu Vishan certainly is, for the great turtle grinds to a halt amidst all this and a trace of concern for the little ones on his shell can be felt in the minds of many.

FIRE SECTOR

[Kedan awakened by the sonic boom of the satellite cluster are quick to raise the alarm and the first officers on the scene dispatch teams to disable the fiery fountains of this sector and make evident the actual burn risks. There is a rush to save what few luxuries they feel are left to them and many a merchant can be seen entering or retreating from burning buildings to salvage their material wares (or their stores of juulan).

Petty thievery and looting manifests first here, with piles of personal belongings and isolated persons targeted for a quick profit. The police are busy directing fire control and miss much of these instances, not having the manpower to go after robbery when they have a city to save.

Efforts from Foreigners to help here will be met with distressed confusion from the civilian kedan population. However, offers of assistance made to the officers on scene will be gratefully accepted in what appears to be a turnabout from previous crises. With supplies limited, they want to save as much as possible before the fires claim it.]

[ Kara wasn't asleep, she could hear them coming. And more than that, she could hear people around the turtle look up and see the things falling out of the sky. She took only a second to put on some clothes that wouldn't rip up on contact before flying up into the sky to try and avert as much of the wreckage as she can. She can't be everywhere at once, though, and punching large flaming objects takes time and energy. Pieces still get through, for all her efforts. ]

[It was sudden really but what about life here hadn't been? In all honesty from what Garth had been learning since his arrival, it was to expect the unexpected but when things where getting out of control like this, it made him grateful that he was able to help to a much larger extent in protecting those around him, even if he didn't know their names or their faces were not familiar. He wasn't sure what brought him to the fire sector but during his travels around this new world he felt it was important to familiarise himself with the area--an area that suddenly found itself being rained down upon by fire and debris.

As a sorcerer, conjuring up water from any humidity around him was a beneficial art to when it came to not having to utilise the natural resources which at times seemed dire from what he had heard about the water already. So using this tactic he took to putting out as many fires as he could, drawing the water in from the air around him and projecting it upon the flames that caught on buildings. Yet, when above he saw Kara forcefully pushing aside the objects, he took to standing in a radius below her.] Need a hand?

{He called up to her with a small smirk upon his lips because it felt good to stretch his powers despite the circumstances and with energy he could put forth, he shifted from putting out fires, to attempt and catch whatever of the debris passed her, a forcefield like object surrounding him as his hands glowed in a faint orange and blue aura.]

I wouldn't say no! [ It's not really a horrible effort to keep this up, not yet, but she can see how many pieces she's missing, she can hear the screams of the people below her. She has to protect these people. ]

Sometimes I really hate that there's only one of me.

[quipster]

Well I'd say next time-- [He is cut off for a moment as a piece of debris comes spiralling down from the sky, forcing him to move out of the way at the impact. As soon as he is on his feet again though, he's attempting to extinguish the flames it creates.]

I'd put on a blonde wig but I don't think we've got quite the same facial structure!

[notdreaming]

Are you alright? [ She turns around to check on him and gets bonked in the head by a bit of debris. No big. But still obnoxious. ]

I don't think it's the face that'll cause the biggest problem!

[quipster]

Yeah-- [He notices the hit and winces slightly--but she seems tough, she seems alright so he wont find too much concern at the moment until the damage is done. Still, he's back to work as he continues in attempts to assist her, bringing up a small forcefield as the piece that bounced off her spirals down towards the ground.]

What?! [He keeps a teasing manner even while all of this happening.]</small. Is it the figure?!

[notdreaming]

[ She shakes it off before turning back around, focusing on the incoming Death from Above. ]

Your arms are a lot more defined! Work out a bit less and you might pull it off. [ She's always been a skinny thing, which isn't necessarily a positive, but quite noticable. ]

[quipster]

[His hands and his mind are busy at the onslaught, but that doesn't stop him from making banter with the other, a small smile on his lips.] I'll keep that in mind for my workout regiment.

We'll get this down!

[notdreaming]

[ She's so stressed, she's just glad there's somebody nearby with a good sense of humor. She really hopes her building doesn't get destroyed. That would suck. ]

Great! I hope you don't expect payment.

[quipster]

Depends on what you're payin' for. [He manages a laugh and looks up at the sky, deflecting another piece of debris before noting a few more spiralling down.]

To your right!

[notdreaming]

Got it! [ And so she does, though she has to loop around closer to the turtle for a moment to get the right trajectory. She does though, and she launches the debris into the open ocean. ]

I just hope they don't charge me for repairs if one of these falls on my suite!

[quipster]

[He watches her for a moment to assure that she's got ahold of it before moving on, his feet step closer to the building as he continues to attempt and deflect the debris towards the buildings.] I would hope they wouldn't!

It's not like it's our fault space decided to dump it's baggage on us.

Tazendra had noticed the noise, and -- having survived riots before -- even if she wasn't sure what caused it, she was immediately out on the street, attempting to figure out what she should be doing.
