Satellite Crash Event

Crash Landing | Salvage Party | Shocking Spectres

Questions | Fire Sector | Earth Sector | Metal Sector | Water Sector | Wood Sector | Outlying Areas

The early morning hours of May 21st are broken by the sound of a low lying explosion and a veritable rain of fiery bits and bobs such as molten hot metal and space debris. Those out and about in the very early morning (three hours before dawn) see a meteoric shape streaking overhead and leaving a debris trail. Those interested in following it may find themselves distracted by the debris raining down across Tu Vishan, starting fires and damaging buildings turtlewide. Tu Vishan certainly is, for the great turtle grinds to a halt amidst all this and a trace of concern for the little ones on his shell can be felt in the minds of many.

Water Sector. [It takes him a few moments to think about it, but his own sector is probably the best place right now to handle the fires. There's likely a place to keep this guy.] They'd have places set up by now, and it's the least likely place to be bogged down by the fires.

[You know. Because water.] Come on. [He jerks his head to the side, taking lead as he turns them toward the sector.]

Right, yeah. Not too far off.

[She says this as a matter of keeping herself motivated, but she figures it won't hurt the other two to hear it either. She follows Finnick's lead, helping support the weight of the injured man as they move.]

Things like this don't happen too often, do they? [Because she's feeling a bit more at home when there's things like this to do, people to save, things to stop from exploding.]

Well... [It's not like the kedan doesn't already know the madness that's been going on, but some people aren't up for madness. Although, he thinks as he glances over at the woman again, she's definitely not one to care.

Who the hell else is going to run into fire and save someone?]
The mainland was an oppressive experience. Nothing like this, but the stockade and torture devices placed in public was a turn off. [He guides them around a piece of burning wreckage.] After I arrived, though, Tu Vishan decided to dive under the water. The barrier saved us from drowning but not from these jiangshi. Zombies, some people told me.

Mainland?

[She sounds hopeful that there'll be another piece of land they come in contact with at some point. If so, that gives her a chance to try and get out. Even if there are torture devices all out in public, it's nothing she won't be able to handle.]

So...there's torture, turtle diving, zombies, and now all this. Oh, I'm so glad I was chosen to be here.

[She huffs, and focuses on holding up more of the weight of the kedan and moving faster. The sooner they can deposit him someplace, the sooner they can go back out and find someone else.]

Turtle isn't the only land around here. There are continents, where people live. Actual people. I've only been here for one docking, but there's been two so far.

[Finnick was right about Water Sector. Despite the overall rotting of the place, the water's still good for putting out fires. It's still chaos, but not as much as Wood at the moment. He nods toward what looks like a makeshift tent.] There, I think. We can drop him off there, and they'll take care of him.
