The early morning hours of May 21st are broken by the sound of a low lying explosion and a veritable rain of fiery bits and bobs such as molten hot metal and space debris. Those out and about in the very early morning (three hours before dawn) see a meteoric shape streaking overhead and leaving a debris trail. Those interested in following it may find themselves distracted by the debris raining down across Tu Vishan, starting fires and damaging buildings turtlewide. Tu Vishan certainly is, for the great turtle grinds to a halt amidst all this and a trace of concern for the little ones on his shell can be felt in the minds of many.

[Toro comes up to a quick stop when he hears her and turns his head--not that it's easy to tell he's looking, being on fire and all--to see the treehouse in question.]

Yeah, yeah! I can siphon the heat off for you. [He swoops down low enough that the fire could be licking his feet and draws the heat up into his own body. Not too fast or else he'll overload too quickly, but fast enough to pull it away from where the kids are.]</small.

[She appreciates the assist. The kedan here seem to be more concerned about buildings, which she gets since fire really likes wood, but she can't just leave two kids to burn. Especially not when two older kedan she assumes are their parents are on the ground below, nervously watching. As soon as Toro pulls the flames away enough she gets into the treehouse, coming out a minute later with two children in her arms. They're frightened and a little overheated but not hurt otherwise. She flies them down to the ground and gives them to their parents before looking up at Toro]

Okay, we're good! The kids are safe now.

Great, just give me a minute! [Toro keeps absorbing as much of the flames away as a he can before flying up into the air and expelling majority of it into the sky. It takes more than a minute, but he's also trying not to go supernova and blind anyone down below.]

Whew! That was a doozy.

Seriously, thanks. You were awesome. I wouldn't have been able to get those kids out without you. [She's never really worked with any of the Torches before so this is kind of a new thing for her. She looks up to watch Toro, shielding her eyes from the flames before floating up to meet him]
