The early morning hours of May 21st are broken by the sound of a low lying explosion and a veritable rain of fiery bits and bobs such as molten hot metal and space debris. Those out and about in the very early morning (three hours before dawn) see a meteoric shape streaking overhead and leaving a debris trail. Those interested in following it may find themselves distracted by the debris raining down across Tu Vishan, starting fires and damaging buildings turtlewide. Tu Vishan certainly is, for the great turtle grinds to a halt amidst all this and a trace of concern for the little ones on his shell can be felt in the minds of many.

Yeah, we'll make an effort to clean it up and move things around, but I don't know how sold they are on it being in there anyway. [After all, it's been broken into once and obviously nothing was found.]

Whatever you say, Buck. You know I can handle it. [He'll just have to keep up with letting off the steam. Or contemplate taking a likely very painful dip into the ocean. And then he hears screams coming from a nearby house.]

I know, but if you need a dip in the water let me know- [He's fixing to make it know that he won't let his best friend drown, but the screams distract him too, and he glances up immediately in that direction, expression going a little more grim. He's never really hesitated to run toward a dangerous situation, and he doesn't hesitate now, setting off at a sprint in the direction the screams came from.] Time to go be heroes again, sounds like.

[Toro swoops down with a hand outstretched, free of flames to pick Bucky up. He'll carr Bucky with him to the upper floors of the treehouse.]

Come on, we'll get there faster this way.

[He reaches out and grabs onto his forearm with a practiced ease, just high enough that Toro can get a good grip on his, and offers him one of those typical Bucky "we're about to run headfirst into danger" grins.] Just be careful where you drop me, barbecued best pal ain't on the menu tonight.

[Toro is grinning, but it's not that easy to see.] Not enough meat in that dish.

[He carries Bucky up to the first floor where the main outdoor veranda is to set him down.]

You check the downstairs, I'll check the upstairs?

Right. Yell if you find anyone, I'll do the same. [Since if they have to manhandle scared civilians to get them out, it's a lot easier for Bucky to do that while Toro keeps the route out cleared. He just shoots his friend a brief salute and barges in, unafraid of the flames and the heat.]
