The early morning hours of May 21st are broken by the sound of a low lying explosion and a veritable rain of fiery bits and bobs such as molten hot metal and space debris. Those out and about in the very early morning (three hours before dawn) see a meteoric shape streaking overhead and leaving a debris trail. Those interested in following it may find themselves distracted by the debris raining down across Tu Vishan, starting fires and damaging buildings turtlewide. Tu Vishan certainly is, for the great turtle grinds to a halt amidst all this and a trace of concern for the little ones on his shell can be felt in the minds of many.

[Someone else who is familiar with Atlantis? There are many here indeed. He wonders what kind of Atlantis she is used to in her world.] It is a common technique in my world, but I have seen for myself how different Atlantis can be depending on its origins.

Surface agriculture is not something I am as familiar with, but I believe the damage is minor. [Most of the plants do not look severely harmed or even badly waterlogged from their efforts.]

If it's minor, then that's a relief. Considering what I've heard of the turtle's state, this would've been a big blow if you hadn't managed to get here on time.

Keyword is 'enough'. I don't hang around them, but I know them well enough. Everyone knows them, honestly.

[He smiles.] That is unsurprising considering their presence. They are currently the only active global organization of its kind.

And yet you say you do not work with them? Young heroes are often mentors or taken under the fin of the League as a whole. [He may be assuming things, but she certainly seems like she could be a hero.]

They're the well-known ones, but I wouldn't say they're the only active one where I'm from.

Oh, uh--- I don't think I qualify, and they already got magic users. I'm more content with not having everyone know my face. [Except in the magic community, she'd rather know who all of them are.]

[He doesn't understand why she wouldn't qualify, but if it is was she prefers...] If that is your choice, then it is the right choice for you. Having only one group can at times seem impractical, even if they do have the best of intentions. Still, they are not the only active heroes in my world, either. Most of them simply work in alliance with the League.

Sounds about right. Though I think it gets messy if there's too many groups too. I mean, some people get territorial, you know? Weird as it is, when you're all fighting for the same cause.
