TEL VISHAN BEACH PARTY

Situation: Baby Turtle Beach Party!

At the edge of Asti's shell there are coastlines of natural deposits that make up the closest thing to a 'beach' that they'll ever find in Keeliai. It's here that the official Tel Vishan Beach Party is set to take place. All turtle 'parents' will have gotten a message from their respective hatchlings about said party (perhaps a nice change from the whining and the temper tantrums).

Temporary shaded areas built with poles and sheets for weary parents or hatchlings who do decide to come, and some simple snacks and refreshments have been set up as well. There's a fishing net set up to act as a volleyball net for the day, and a ball waiting in the sand for some players.

The rest is up to those who come.

Because there is little she won't do for those in her care, and also because Ryder asked very politely several times in a row, Raine found herself roped into attending the beach party. She stayed a fair distance from the water, mostly in the shaded areas: she'd had more than enough sunburns for one month. After a little while, however, judging that there were more than enough other responsible parties capable of looking after the turtles, and knowing that Ryder would alert her if any kind of serious trouble arose, Raine felt secure enough to start sidling back toward Keeliai proper. More than likely no one would miss her much.

Garrett Hawke | Open

Hawke has been here since the beginning since Akito talked him into helping. Now that the party is up and running however, Hawke finds himself without any real clue what to do. He's never really been to a beach, and he's certainly never been to a party at the beach. So for the moment Hawke just finds himself standing aimlessly at the party without any real idea what to do. It seems there's a first time for everything.

Zuko - Open

[Zuko isn't here because he knew there was a party or anything. Really, he's still trying to adjust to life in this place and knows very little about what's going on.

The reason he is here though, is because he feels drawn there somehow.

He looks around, seeing a lot of people he doesn't know and several... turtles? Zuko is walking around, looking a bit lost and confused and a bit out of place since he's not exactly dressed for swimming or anything.]

[Jackie's hanging out either in the water or with Rio'era. He's trying not to get too deep - he's not used to doing a lot of swimming - but he's trying.

Since he's wearing a swimsuit, his Sun On Yee tattoos are very obvious. There's a dragon coiling up his right arm, Guan Yu on the back of his left hand, and a phoenix on his chest. Ask him about them? Or don't.]

Kalliel had seemed excited about cooling off in the water, so Gene had (somewhat reluctantly) agreed to help chaperone the turtle that had chosen him. He wasn't too keen on festivities, after the few months he's had, but maybe they'll help.

And did you know that the kedan totally make bright yellow swim trunks? Because he's wearing bright yellow swim trunks. One must keep to a theme, after all.]
